Creekside Retreat, 3 bedroom, Large parking, Picnic area. Across from Trail 14
Almost Heaven Lodging is newly remodeled with large living and kitchen area. It is very nice and cozy. We have very large parking in front of the lodge. We are conveniently located across from Buffalo Mountain Trail 14. We have a covered picnic area & Gazebo for family get to gathers.
Hosts were great to work with and property was just as described. Clean and had plenty of âextrasâ that you usually donât find at other vacation rentals. If weâre ever back in the area, we will definitely be looking to book again.
We had a great weekend here, plenty of parking space, house was neat and clean with everything we could have needed. Plenty of outdoor gathering space and communication with host were A .
Will be back again.
My family stayed at this creekside retreat to ride on the Hatfield and Mccoy trails and it was great. We were unsure about the area and what was going to happen when we arrived but everything was great and we had the best time. I will say that the owners were helpful in recommendations and if we ever go back to the Delbarton area we will seek out this house.
Cute, clean lodging for me and my family. We were there for trail riding. Easy access for trailheads 14 and 15. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Gave us quick responses when we needed local shops for broken quad and everything else we asked about. Can't wait to go back!
Everything about this place was great. We will definitely be staying here again. The only reason the location got a 4 star was because there is a ball park that shares a parking lot with this home and it gets crazy crowded but then on a good note you can run over to the concession stand and get some good snacks! We rode 10 hours one day. The trails were amazing around this property!
Loved the prime location, bedrooms, hosts and amenities. The only thing we didnât have was an outdoors water access to wash our motorcycles. Aside from dust bunnies under furniture and baseboards, the home was clean and nicely decorated with tvs in each bedroom.
Perfect location to the trails! The house was clean and the beds were comfortable! Thereâs plenty of room to unload your trailer and thereâs cameras which made us feel even more safe with leaving our side by sides outside. Patti, the owner, was very responsive and very welcoming. There is a gas station less than 5 minutes away, with all you need. We loved our stay here, we will defiantly be back to stay!
The location is not plesent as far as the location within a park/ball field. Within 15 minutes of arriving rider comes off the trail does, donuts in the gravel parking lot spraying our truck, trailer and SXS with rocks. Hints why the preschool building across has many holes in the siding. My husband had a few words with the driver. Then after
unloading we go outside to the right on the picnic table was a couple that was using Herion and immediately got up and walked away. Two nights later there was another couple using at the tables. Monday-Thursday there are football games/practice, the parking lot fills up completely. If you are arriving during the week after 5:00pm you will not be able to pull in to the parking lot and park. We left on the SXS and when we come back we had to tell someone to move to drive back over to the unit. You can not wash your SXS out back as spectators sit in the yard behind where the hose is. They also knock & bang on the back of the unit. They sit against the unit by the bedroom we slept in holler, yell and scream until 9:00pm. Sounds like they are in the bedroom. The field lights are turned on at dark and light up the inside of the unit until they leave around 8:30pm-9:30pm.
We stayed to ride the trailers, 7 of us comfortably stayed in the house and had plenty of room for 2 trucks and trailers and 3 machines. Good location to ride from just about anywhere youâd like too.
Place was great and the owners responded fast with any questions or concerns!
Directions to the place were super easy, parking was amazing. We had two trucks with trailers. One being a 22' trailer and there was plenty more room for more. The house was really cozy and inviting. I loved the decor! It was extremely well stocked, had shampoo and condition, snacks, coffee and creamer. There was 3 bedrooms with queen beds, two sofa beds and a fold out cot. The was an abundance of blankets and pillows for everyone with extra left over. I brought my own pillow because most places seem to never have enough pillows so i was pleasantly surprised when we discovered an abundance of them. Every room had a ceiling fan but as an added bonus there was smaller fans that set on your night stand. Laundry powders were furnished as well so u didnt have to worry about buying any. The house was literally right across the road from trail 14. Or you could ride the road a little distance. There was a gas station as well stocked full of stuff, helmets, tshirts and you could buy trail permits there too. The house had a shelter (1 of 2 shelters) with a stone fireplace loaded with plenty of firewood. Absolutely loved that! We didnt have any cell service but the house came with free wifi access that was fast. Had a couple games you could play and even had extra trail maps for navigating the trails. Highly recommend this place. Hosts were amazing, my friends talked to Jerome when we first arrived and he was very friendly. Loved the whole experience!
