We stayed here for 7 days and it was amazing! Everything you could possibly need or want was provided. The location was perfect for the peace and quiet that we wanted. Josie was the perfect host. We would definitely stay here again!!! I would definitely recommend this place for a girls trip or a family vacation.

This place was great they had everything you could need for your family. All sorts of extra things for our family. Home was very clean had everything you need in the kitchen. We loved the smore station and all the board games and toys for the pool. Our family had a great time. Josie the owner would check on us through messenger to make sure we had everything. We had such a great time and will be back.

Best vacation rental to date! Literally stocked with everything you need. Plenty of towels, washcloths, kitchen was stocked with everything needed including spices, laundry detergent, fishing gear, toys for all ages of children, games, everything one could think of. Josie and her husband were very thoughtful in making sure families are completely comfortable in their stays and paid attention to the smallest details, like motion lights on the stairs going to the third floor. This home was literally perfect! Highly recommend looking at your digital welcome packet before you pack, would have saved us half a truck load!!! Literally!!! Hernado beach area was just lovely and not over populated like the touristy places of Florida but still close enough to do touristy things. We absolutely loved the rental. Thank you Josie and we will more likely than not, be returning next summer !!!

This home was a perfect place for our family to enjoy family time together! The house is beautiful and spacious. There are so many activities provided within the house you never have to leave if you don’t want to. The host is truly wonderful and puts so many personal touches into the house. Perfect Vacation Home

Plenty of room with multiple gathering places for fun and time alone. The pool and pool room are perfect. The dock and kayaks are fun. The bedrooms are comfy. Josie adds so many extras… a S’mores bar, snacks, Monsters, a coffee bar, cleaning supplies and more. Everything you need for an excellent trip is provided!!

Great place to stay

We absolutely loved our stay here. Everything was provided, along with toiletries. There was so much to do at the home, we didn't leave much. The kids loved everything from the board games, the Nintendo Switch, the pool, and the kayaks. We even seen some dolphins out on the canal. The neighbors seem very friendly. Wonderful neighborhood! We would definitely stay here again!

Great Property!

We booked Hernando Hideaway for a few days to visit our adult children in the area. We were not disappointed with this great property! The house was very clean, comfortable and the hosts thought of everything! So organized! Lots to do and great outdoor areas. We rented a boat and used the fire pit. The s’mores kit was genius. We would rent again!

Absolute Perfection!!! Everything was over and beyond expectation with so many amenities and extras that only added to the vacation and relaxing experience!! The manager really has thought of everything to make this getaway the best and is accommodating, helpful and available when and if the time arises that you need assistance. Boys trip at Hernando Hide away!

I stayed here for my bachelor party. Just trust me. This place is it. They thought of everything. I packed light and most of my bag space was taken up by groomsmen gifts. I walked in and they had all the toiletries I needed. Super clean and so much to do

5 Star Experience!

Hernando Hideaway was spectacular! We traveled from Ohio with an 8month old and a 5 year old for a family vacation. The house was impressively stocked with everything you would need and more, specifically geared toward children. The attention to organization was out of this world! The cleanliness and non decor were the cherry on top. Josie was responsive to any question and concerns we had. 5 STAR property and host!

Beautiful and relaxing home

This home had everything you needed as well as things you didn’t even know you needed! We enjoyed the well organized kitchen, s’mores at the fire pit, the heated pool, relaxing bike rides. The dock was perfect for our boat as well as the canal being wide and deep enough to use with ease. Our group of employees and spouses fit perfectly in the large home with plenty of space to do our big group meals together. We had constant communication with the owners as they made sure our stay was perfect. We will be going back again with our kids and family during the summer and cannot wait to stay there!

Awesome Family Experience!

Loved loved loved this rental. Spent a long weekend at the house with 2 families, 4 kids and 4 adults. The property was well maintained and really catered to families. From the toiletries, the snack box, and the smore station, everything was well thought out. Josie was super responsive. And the location was perfect. Spent a day at Pine Island, a day at Weeki Wachee, and rented a pontoon for the day. Couldn't have asked for a better trip. Thank you so much!

This property is so clean and beautiful! They really thought of everything possible to provide a fun and relaxing environment. The pool is crystal clear and refreshing. Take a break from afternoon thunderstorms in the pool game room…plenty of games provided. From coffee bar, fully stocked kitchen, and toiletries to coolers, chairs, and towels for the beach…they have you covered. Even sunscreen and bug spray! We had fun crabbing on the dock and roasting marshmallows on the fire. All s’mores items provided as well. Amazing hosts! Thanks again for a great stay 😁
