Newly built two bedroom cottage with enormous decks overlooking Cayuga Lake and views of Cornell. Watch local rowing teams pass by while sipping coffee. 130 ft of private lakefront. Kayaks, SUPs, and life jackets provided. Bring your boat, dock is new. Cottage has all modern amenities: professional stove, washer/dryer, flatscreen TVs, Mitsubishi aircon, Blackstone outdoor grill. New hot tub! One mile from Ithaca’s Cass Park. Bring your bikes, we are across from Black Diamond Trail access points. Near Taughannock State Park, and dozens of area waterfalls. Very close to downtown. Easy parking on private driveway for 2-4 cars.

Sleeping spaces include: queen bed in the primary bedroom (2 persons), and secondary bedroom with queen bed (2 persons), plus bunk (single) and loft bed (single) accessible by ladder.

On private driveway shared with 3 other private properties.

Clean, calm and serene

This property was quiet, clean and cozy. There are many stairs on the property but stairs don't bother you it is a delightful place to stay.

This house is amazing! The house is on Cayuga Lake and was the prettiest, cleanest, nicest house ever. We had the best time. We stayed five nights and we will be back in the summer!

Peaceful Retreat

The house was beautiful, comfortable and clean. Right on the lake with a large deck and gorgeous views. Also, conveniently located. We had a truly lovely experience.

Winter Weekend

This house is lovely. It’s super cozy and was perfect for a winter weekend on the lake. Amazing lake views. Fireplace was perfect and the hot tub was fun in the snow. Everything in the house is done very nicely. Everything is super clean. View from master bedroom is incredible. Hosts are extremely communicative and helpful. Would absolutely love to come back here again!

Great weekend

We had a great weekend away as a family here. The house was perfect, small but very clean and cute - just right for us and our kids. Loved hearing the water outside the window and enjoying the deck in the evenings. Close to many different activities. Would definitely stay at here again.

Weekend Visiting Ithaca College

Spent 3 nights at this beautiful property. Brand new home and everything was immaculate. Deck, hot tub and views were amazing. Owners were super communicative and helpful when we had a question about the fireplace. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great location & great amenities

The property is beautiful and has everything you need for a lake getaway. In addition to the brand new interior and perfect stay accommodations, we loved the large deck, bbq, hot tub, and areas to relax. We really appreciated having access to canoes, SUPs, water floats as well as life vests for everyone in the family. The house location was great with a short drive into Ithaca for restaurants and access to groceries, etc.

Beautiful lakefront near IC

This property is a gem! Lovely, comfortable, homey yet modern feeling spot with amenities galore - from kayaks to a hot tub to a spacious deck. Wow. We loved it. So near Ithaca College, Cornell, and hiking adventures.

Gorgeous cottage

We stayed here with our twins and absolutely loved it. Gorgeous views of Cayuga Lake with a hot tub you can enjoy the view from. Thoughtful details and convenient amenities throughout the home and property that really elevated the experience. Hosts were very communicative and pleasant. This property has direct access to the lake which we didn’t use but would love to during warmer months. Would love to come back and stay here again.

Amazing location and stunning property

Ellie and Chris' cottage is spectacular! The location was perfect to explore the local wineries, hiking and cuisine of Ithaca. The cottage itself was such a welcoming, clean, organized and beautiful place both inside and out. The water was so clear and clean for swimming and paddleboarding. And of course the large hot tub was perfect to relax in. The hosts were also generous with offering local insight into their favourite places to eat, drink and hike! I would highly recommend staying at this place and would definitely book again.

First time at Lake Cayuga - perfect house!

What a great house to rent for our first visit. Super close to Ithaca so driving, boating, uber are all easy ways to get to great restaurants. The house is newly renovated and super clean. The giant deck makes for a very enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere. Great air conditioning and super comfortable beds. Host is super helpful and always available to answer questions. We will be back!!

Nice, cozy and comfortable place with breath taking view

We stayed for three nights. Even before the the check-in, Chris was great communicating with us, the check-in was simple and easy. The place is like its just been renovated, clean and is really pretty and functional. The pillows were so comfortable it was hard to get up in the morning. Hot tub was so nice and clean and the jet was awesome. The lake is so pretty and the deck was a great spot to just sit and do nothing. Highly recommended.

Great house, great hosts!

We had a fantastic few days on the lake! House and furnishings are new and clean. Kids had fun in the lofted space. Loved having access to kayaks and paddleboards. Close to both Ithaca downtown and lake activities. And the house was stocked with the necessities - we didn’t need to bring anything. Thanks Chris and Ellie! We’d love to come back.

A perfect piece to relax and recharge, with all the great necessary to enjoy the lake

From first to last, the house was great. Everything is new. Fully equipped kitchen, and outdoor Blackstone (giant griddle) grill. Hot tub was perfect respite after some hikes. Best part, though, was phalanx of kayaks and paddle boards. We all got out on the water. Perhaps surprisingly, our adult kids were just fine sharing the bedroom which includes one bed and two separate upper bunk beds. So no need to set up the sofa bed in the main room.

Loved it!

We stayed here while on a family vacation visiting Ithaca and the Finger Lakes region. The house is super clean and nice (basically brand new), private, and in a great location (<10 minutes from Ithaca). All bedding/pillows/towels are good quality. There's a stairway from the back deck down to the waterfront and we enjoyed swimming and kayaking (with the provided kayaks and stand up paddleboards). We also enjoyed the hot tub (new and clean), and just taking in the view! There are good hiking trails with waterfalls in the area, and also good places for meals in Ithaca. Ithaca Bakery was a frequent stop for breakfast/lunch, and The Boatyard Grill was our favorite for dinner (here's a tip: they don't take "reservations" but if you call after 3PM they take "call aheads" for a specific time that night, though we ended up waiting 20 minutes even with that). We loved the house and the area and would stay here again!

Clean, Newly Renovated, Beautiful Spot!

We spent 4 nights here for our daughter's Cornell graduation. The space was very comfortable for me, my husband, and our (adult) son. (There are two additional twin beds available in the house as well, but they are in a loft area accessible by a straight ladder -- probably only realistic for a nimble youngster.) This house is beautifully equipped with all the things that you need for a multi-day stay, including basic kitchen equipment, a Blackstone grill (which is like a huge griddle), and a big hot tub. We were able to cook dinner in several nights, avoiding the "graduation crowds" in town. Honestly, the view from the porch is better than any restaurant. We had a very rainy weekend but this was still a great place to stay. The sun came out on our last day and we saw just how amazing a nice weekend might have been. Given the bad weather, we didn't get to explore the lake on the kayaks but they were available! The hosts Chris and Ellie are extremely responsive and attended to our every need. Chris even came and blew off the deck and chairs twice after big rainstorms. If I have need to be in Ithaca again, I will definitely return to this VRBO! A.

Family get away

Amazing property! Attentive hosts. Perfectly suited for relaxation and amazing family time. Luxurious deck with amazing sun rise views and kayak sunset views. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!
