Confortablement meublé trois chambres 1. 5 maison de bain sur une propriété boisée calme de 25 acres. Cet endroit serein ressemble à votre propre sanctuaire privé dans les bois, mais se trouve également à 10 minutes du centre-ville d'Ithaca, à 10 minutes de l'Université Cornell et à 15 minutes du collège d'Ithaca. Cette maison a une cuisine avec de nouveaux appareils et tous les outils dont vous auriez besoin pour préparer les repas. Les salles de bain ont été récemment rénovées. La chambre principale a une demi-salle de bain attenante et un lit queen. La deuxième chambre a un lit queen. La troisième chambre a un lit jumeau. Draps et serviettes inclus. La maison a une laveuse et une sécheuse au niveau inférieur.

Cutest hideaway

absolutely adorable home with all the essentials for cooking and game night. we lucked out with snow the whole trip and the windows make you feel like you’re living in a snow globe. plenty of space for our five guests to sleep and hang. and there’s a piano for anyone who likes to pluck around on the keys!

Relaxing Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Maria & John's place. Communication was excellent, John even met us and helped us find the place as we were arriving after dark. The location was exactly as described, a real woodland retreat with forest surrounding the house, very private. Everything was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. I would not hesitate to book again!

love this place

This is not my first stay at Woodland privacy in Ithaca. This home is my 'go to' for being with my daughter and grandson in Brooktondale. Hosts are amazing and hold this space with care. I love everything about this space, including the daily deer!

Quiet house nestled in the woods

The house was set in the middle of the woods and we enjoyed our stay in the house. Was very peaceful and quiet. It is a quaint house and location. The huge windows in the living room were my favorite and you can see tall trees in all direction. We visited during fall and the leaves were such pretty colors. Very quiet and peaceful location. The hosts had taken care to provide good supplies - plenty of towels, good kitchen dishes and utensils. The one thing to note is that the property is huge and sits on several acres of wooded land, but we could not explore it much, since the trees and shrubbery was overgrown. A great addition would be maintaining walking trails for exploring the land.

A summer to remember

The house was just perfect for us and was close to our family and all conveniences that we needed. Peaceful setting and great trails. House had what we needed to function as if it was our own. Hope to be back!

great weekend getaway

Wonderful private home in the woods just outside Ithaca. Very well located for exploration of the area-including state parks for hiking, downtown Ithaca and Cornell. The house is well appointed, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped-- making it easy for us to eat most meals in. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!!

Clean, secluded and welcoming home

Maria was a wonderful host and her home had all the extras we needed. We cooked all our meals in her well equipped kitchen and she even had travel toiletries for things you may have forgotten. Our pups loved the yard and were very safe.

We found the house and it’s woodsy surroundings to be charming and just what we hoped for. Spacious, very clean , well equipped. There was plenty of space for our group of 5 friends. Location is perfect for exploring around Ithaca. Would love to come again.

Perfect place to relax

The perfect woodsy getaway

We rented the house for the month of October and couldn't have enjoyed it more. Looking for a woodsy escape from the city, Maria's house was absolutely perfect. The foliage was stunning, house is so cozy and comfortable with all the necessary amenities and more. Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice. The house is lovely, the location is unbeatable, and Maria is a responsive and wonderful hostess. Highlights: - the gorgeous sun room, perfect for yoga every morning and set up a workspace that everyone on Zoom thought was a virtual background because it's so beautiful! - trails around the property through the wooded 25 acres, occasion visits from deer around the house - fully stocked kitchen, new appliances - great space in the basement for workouts - super comfy beds! - fast wifi that two of us were able to work remotely from (lots of video calls with no issues) - 20 min from downtown Ithaca, yet feels so secluded - Maria's hospitality to drop off a space heater, pick up the garbage & recycling, and be highly responsive to questions before and during the booking process

privacy and space to spread out, walk around, hike about

I loved painting and meditating and writing in the room with 3 walls of windows. The living/dining area also has huge windows that can be open all the time--even at night--because there's nobody around to see you. Being so deep in the woods is very peaceful and private; we saw deer almost daily, a fox, and our little dogs loved chasing all the many frogs. A wonderful place to be if you want quiet and solitude for you and your family.

Great for a long stay

We rented this property for a month and it had everything you could want, especially for those looking to get out of a city and spend some time in nature. The property is ideally located in that it’s close enough to Ithaca to have access to everything you need but still be secluded for privacy and quiet. The owner was very responsive to all of my questions before we rented the property and was very communicative during our stay. Another reviewer commented that the photos do not do this place justice and I agree. I would definitely rent this place again if I’m in the area.

Cornell Graduation Weekend

Family gathering for our daughter's graduation. The setting in the woods is calming, and a great antidote to the graduation crowds. We were all very happy with the house, which really had everything we needed, including the grill for a relaxing dinner. There were even travel-size personal care products in case you forgot to bring something! Highly recommend.

My family and I stayed for two nights recently for my daughter's Ithaca College graduation. The owners were wonderful and thoughtful hosts. The house is inviting and so comfortable. It is very peaceful and we loved being surrounded by nature. We would definitely come back instead of staying at a hotel.
