We stayed in Eliza for three nights. This unit is tiny but has everything you need.
The best part is the balcony where you can watch the Cedar Key comings and
goings. Highly recommend and would stay here again.
Spoiled, spoiled, spoiled. This getaway meant so much to both of us. We chose to bring our own meals and cook most of our stay. Super clean, super comfortable, and a great getaway! The town is incredibly charming and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed walking the City and talking with locals. Steamers had great seafood! Tip--Visit the local forest trails: Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge & Shell Mound We'll definitely return! We
Eliza was super clean and very welcoming. The apartment was conveniently located and in walking distance to shops and restaurants. The owners responded quickly to the few questions I had about the property. I would highly recommend renting the property.
The property seemed recently completed, all new. The bed and the couch were both very comfortable. Very central location for easy access to everything.
Overall Eliza was very clean and cozy. It is a bit smaller than the picture portrayed, but it was set up to utilize the space to its maximum potential. There were a few things that werenât working- the internet was very spotty, the tvâs had glitches across the screen or had remotes that did not work (though with the internet not working, none of the available programs would have worked anyway) , and the living room fan didnât turn on. The location was very convenient, making everything within walking distance. We stayed for the Fourth of July weekend and were able to see the fireworks from the deck!
This property has been re-modeled and is absolutely Beautiful! Located in the center of everything. Walking distance to the water and all the restaurants. Everything you need from coffee to spices is available In the rental. The most comfortable beds I have ever slept on!
Everything about this property was top notch. Extremely well-appointed and spotlessly clean, stay here while it still smells new! There are a lot of places to choose from but this can't be beat for the walkability to any of the commercial areas. If you want old Cedar Key style - little rough around the edges, partying it up with the buds until 3 a.m. - this probably isn't the right place for you. It's a little sleepy, which is just perfect for what we needed. The entire experience could not have been better.
My wife needed a bit of a break from work, so I was searching places to go in Florida that we hadn't seen. I stumbled upon Cedar Key and booked this property. What a great experience. They answered every question quickly, gave a boatload of local things to do and tended to whatever we needed. The apartment was neat and clean, comfortable, central to just about everything on the key, and quiet. When they found out we would not get there until after dark, they called to ask us if we wanted the lights turned for our arrival. (Which they did.) As with everything in life, it is the little things that matter. Their focus on those little details helped make the weekend exceptional. Mendy and those at Pelican Realty earned a huge thank you from us.
We decided to restore the derelict buildings on 2nd St to ensure they did not fall down. We have just completed a 10 month renovation and now open the doors to the public to come and enjoy a bit of old fashioned Cedar Key history combined with a bit of modern day luxury.
Eliza is in the heart of the downtown, walking distance to everything. Once you arrive, you shouldn't have to take your car anywhere! This building was built in 1872 and the original trim work, tabby wall construction and gorgeous corbels are evident!
