Thanksgiving Holiday

We celebrated Thanksgiving with our family in this beautiful home. Plenty of sitting areas, dining areas and bed/baths plus any amazing backyard. Highly recommend this home!!!

A great property. Outside pool area is fantastic.

We came for the total eclipse and booked the house for a base to stay. We enjoyed the pool area, cooking and grill set ups and overall had a great experience. Make sure you carefully read the "about this property" details before booking.

MUDGIRL WEEKEND!

This house is absolutely amazing! Great for entertaining, we were able to use pool, jacuzzi, pool table, used the blackstone for dinner and early breakfast Sunday morning and ate outside! House is nicely appointed, had everything we needed and then some! This is one of my favorites, will be staying here again!

Great family fun!

The home was very clean and well equipped to accommodate our group of 3 families. The kitchen had all the tools we needed to make meals. The bedrooms were comfy and the linens were nice. We enjoyed the pool, blackstone and outdoor space with the kiddos. This was a great spot to relax and make memories with family and friends.

A great place for family and friends !

We had a great time and the house exceeded our expectations. The home offers a great variety of things to do for an expanded age group. We swam in the pool, played the board games that were supplied, and also had fun with the pool table. The home is spacious with multiple areas to gather without being on top of each other. The kitchen was well equipped, and the host was very friendly and informative. Just be sure to understand the quiet time and parking rules, we didn't have any problems with them as we aren't a late-night party group. We definitely hope to stay here again!

Wedding Week Home Away From Home

This property was the perfect home away from home for us to live in the week leading up to our son’s wedding. It had lots of space and amenities so our family could gather (but also spread out). The kitchen was fabulous. I easily prepared meals for 8 and had lots of room to make the grooms cake. It was the perfect spot for the groomsmen to gather, hang out and get ready on the day of the wedding. The yard was fantastic, the adult kids really enjoyed the jacuzzi and we were able to bbq, and relax by the pool. We loved the decor, very beautiful but inviting. Everyone felt at home! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Annual family vacation

Our vacation plans on the Texas coast were interrupted by Hurricane Beryl. We rented this house at the last minute. The house was very clean and very comfortable. Nice play room for the grandchildren to play in. The backyard is fantastic! We rent a house every year for our family vacation and this was the most nicely equipped kitchen we’ve ever had. We do all our own cooking so that was important to us. The host had provided every kind of amenity you could ask for. We left Houston after a Category 1 hurricane so the start of the week was stressful but the week turned out to be very relaxing. Highly recommend this house!!!

Relaxing!

Our stay here was very pleasant and restful. Our family stayed here a few days and honestly our kids didn't want to leave! We found the home very clean and the owners really put a lot of thought into everything. From the decor and artwork to all extra little things around the house. We found we brought things that normally we don't find in places we stay but this home literally had it all. They had a crate, baby highchair, blow up bed, extra blankets, extra pillows seems like they thought of everything. I also received messages from the owner just checking in to see if we needed anything which was awesome. The pool and hot tub were very nice and very relaxing. Their outdoor space was very spacious, and we forgot that we were in town because of all the trees and greenery the house backs up into. There was plenty of spaces and bathrooms! We all room to spread out which was very nice. Lots of TV's too. The home and everything was perfect!!! Separate from that we were a little nervous about the noise level with the kids, but we kept reminding them not to squeal or scream so loud lol! so if you book please read the "About" portion regarding the noise level. We def plan on staying here again as it exceeded our expectations.

We fell in love with this property at first sight. A large stately home sitting in the back of a culdesac backing up to a greenbelt preserve! So many areas inside to congregate. From the large formal living room with huge leather couch to spend time together, large dining room to be able to all share a meal together, to the snuggly fireplace room off of the kitchen, then you have the huge game room with pool table, 55” TV and full bathroom. That amazing backyard! JUST WOW
with pool, hot tub, and so many hang out spots! Patio for coffee or wine watching the sunset, firepit under the stars with Adirondack seating, making memories watching family & friends play in the pool while you’re in the conversation seating set with fire table overlooking the pool's waterfall. Soooo relaxing! You just never want to leave!

The unique benefits of The Orchid are having enough space to be able to be all together! While also having spacious bedrooms offer a peaceful respite. Eating, playing, sleeping...there’s room for everyone. No crowded cramped spaces.
