Retreat Abilene | A Retreat DFW Experience

Welcome to Retreat Abilene, one of four @RetreatDFW locations. Bring your closest family and friends to enjoy all the fun we could pack on 150 private acres.

Stay cool on the water slide, enjoy a round of mini topgolf, or start a family tradition with a kickball game on our turf softball field. Then catch the game on our outdoor movie screen while relaxing at the bar.

With plenty of living space, we can sleep up to 30 people! Let's make some lifelong memories!

We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is limited. We are only a text message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival.

We are in a rural area with minimal neighbors.

The entire house, cabins, and bar, plus outdoor amenities, are included in this rental. Please, make yourself at home.

Located just outside of Abilene, Retreat Abilene has us excited as we continue to push the boundaries of how much fun and activities you can fit on one property.

Our outdoor activities include:
- All-turf softball field, perfect for kickball, baseball, and more
- 150-yard driving range with topgolf style targets
- Pool and hot tub (ask us about heating the pool for your stay!)
- Frisbee golf
- Pickleball
- Basketball
- Volleyball
- Endless yard games
- Waterslide

We have plenty of living space to get comfortable or continue the fun. With six bedrooms and four bathrooms, we can sleep 30 comfortably.

The house, party barn, and outdoor areas are furnished with nice flat-screen TVs with DirectTV and Netflix.

In terms of amenities, we’ve got you covered too! You’ll have access to minor yet essential things like: Kitchen supplies, bath towels, pool towels, soap, coffee, oxygen, and more.

We are so excited to welcome you to the @RetreatDFW family, and we cannot wait to help you make lasting memories, whether here at Retreat Abilene or any of our other locations.

We are located in a rural area, so having your own transportation is recommended.

To maintain secure premises, the retreat is equipped with four exterior cameras that record video and audio. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras on the inside. These cameras face the backyard and driveway.

The person renting the house must be over 25 years old, and must be present during the rental.

We had a wonderful experience with Retreat DFW! The hosts were friendly, professional, and very easy to communicate with. They took the time to understand the needs of our group and were incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process.We truly appreciated their flexibility and their willingness to provide the best experience and options for our group. The service was excellent from start to finish, and we felt very well taken care of.We highly recommend Retreat DFW to anyone looking for great service, flexibility, a clean and comfortable place to stay, and a wide variety of activities for everyone to enjoy!

We stayed here with family and a group of friends. The property itself was awesome. The kids loved it outside. There was something for everyone to do. Although the property was nice, the cleanliness of the home and rooms not so much. One family stayed in one of the cabins and the sheets were definitely not washed, which was disturbing. We were able to contact the host and they were quick to respond, but as much as we paid to stay here, I would hope that the home was immaculate. It’s unfortunate that the home was not cleaned very well because our kids loved it. I would recommend the host to hire new cleaners.

The house itself was nice and all the activities you are able to do was great, but there was a significant amount of trash in the front yard, cigarette butts on the pavement near the pool, and pool had algae all over the bottom of it. For the price, I was not quite happy with the condition of the place, but we overall had a good weekend.

Perfect for the whole family with everything you need for any outdoor activity and an excellent bar area with a pool table.

Fantastic property ! We had storms every day and evening …had some damage from one storm but never took away from the property. There are soo many games to play that everyone had something they could do at all times. James was a great host and good to communicate with us before we arrived and during our stay.

The house was beautiful. So much to do for the kids. We were allowed am early check in and our party started at 5 pm. The pool guys did not come until shortly after 4. They told us it would take about 1.5 to 2 hours before anyone could get in the pool so that already cut into the party time. The outside kitchen area was dirty. Everything was sticky and greasy. The kitchen appliances were dirty, sticky and greasy. There were left over shoes under one of the beds, food crumbs under the bed. The house was very warm. It would not cool off past 76 degrees the whole time. The back bunk room was terribly hot. Even the mini split was not cooling it off. Most of the doors squeaked so anytime someone would walk through a door, it would wake everyone up. There were wasp nests outside under patio and 2 kids got stung. The host was great. He walked us through everything we needed to know. Although the house was nice, I do believe the price we paid was not worth what we got with the cleanliness, the wait of the pool after the party started, the bees and how warm the house was. Kids had fun but wasn't worth the 2000 for 1 night. Hopefully the next time, it will be better for the next people that rent it. Definitely needs a deep cleaning. Beautiful home though

Great property! The game garage with ALL the fun things was a hit with the grandkids. All the sport amenities were great. Peaceful, private and fit our large group perfectly!
