Welcome to The Chalet on Lake Wylie! This stunning 5,000 sq. ft. A-Frame is nestled in a quiet neighborhood and cove, featuring 6 bedrooms—including a spacious converted walk-in closet adjacent to the master—4.5 baths, three decks, an entertainment area, a private dock, and parking for a dozen vehicles. Perfect for up to 16 guests!

The kitchen has a huge, custom wood table that comfortably seats 12, good for meals, games, and corporate meetings.

Our previous guests include corporate groups, friend reunions, wedding parties, and multigenerational families.

Families find the house works well. Kids can play by the lake and in the sandbox, and there's a game room. Teens will probably enjoy the game room and lake activities, and there's space to hang out. Parents can relax on the deck or by the fire pit, or just enjoy the lake views. It's a place where everyone can find something to do.

Some Ways to Enjoy Your Time on Lake Days:

🏖️ Young children will spend hours playing in the beach area—our large, sandy “sandbox” with sun loungers for the grown-ups.

🚤 Take the pontoon out for a thrilling tubing adventure.
☕ Enjoy a quiet morning coffee on the dock or any of our three decks.
🎣 Go fishing right off the dock.
🛶 Explore the cove by kayak or paddle board.
🔥 End the day with s’mores around the fire pit.

If the weather isn’t cooperating, head to the entertainment area on the lower level/walkout basement, where you’ll find:

🎮 Plenty of space and TVs for kids to play indoors

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire house, including the garage with the pool and ping pong table. Some storage closets may be locked.

Early Check-In Policy:
Early check-in requests can only be considered within two days of your scheduled arrival date, as it depends on whether we have guests checking out that same day. Feel free to check back with us at that time. If guaranteed early access is important, we recommend booking the night before to ensure availability.

Other Details to Note:

🔇 Quiet Hours – Please keep noise levels down after 10 PM, as sound carries easily across the cove.
🐾 Pets Welcome – Furry friends are allowed for a small additional fee per pet.
👨‍👩‍👧 Guest Limit – The home accommodates up to 16 guests total, including children, unless otherwise approved by the host. Any violations may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation and removal from the property without a refund.
🚗 Parking – The driveway can fit up to 12 cars stacked. Please do not park on the grass or block our neighbors’ driveway.
📹 Security Cameras – For the safety of our guests and property, cameras monitor the front and back entrances.
🚭 No Smoking – This is a smoke-free home. A $1,000 fee will be charged for any indoor smoking violations.
🌡️ A-Frame Room Temperature Notice – The small A-frame room on the top floor may run a few degrees warmer than the rest of the house during hot summer months. We provide a portable AC unit and fans for added comfort.
🛏️ Unique Bedroom Layout – One of the bedrooms is a spacious, converted walk-in closet located within the master bedroom. It’s fully furnished and private but best suited for guests comfortable with a shared entry point.
📺 Streaming Access – While cable TV is not included, all TVs are smart-enabled. You’re welcome to log in to your favorite streaming platforms or connect your own device using our high-speed fiber internet.
☕ Coffee Makers – The kitchen is equipped with both a Keurig machine and a traditional drip coffee maker to suit your brewing preference.
🧻 Starter Supplies – We provide several rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towels to get you started. Guests may need to bring additional supplies for longer stays. ☂️ Travel Insurance
Travel delays, airline cancellations, weather disruptions, or traffic issues do not qualify for refunds outside of the stated cancellation policy. Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance for protection.
