Hi Kimberly, I am disappointed to see that you decided to leave a 1-star review at Suite Sarah, especially after the efforts we made to resolve and make up for the issue you experienced, which was the hot water lines in the unit freezing due to the extreme multi-day freeze which occurred in Fredericksburg the week of your stay. Our service and hospitality for our guests is our top priority. We had a manager walkthrough and prep the unit the morning of your check-in date, and everything was functioning correctly. Unfortunately the pipes froze between that time and your arrival, which was late that evening. Our general manager came to the property immediately and was there for an hour trouble shooting and working with our plumber and property owner to resolve the issue. Unfortunately nothing could be done, after which we offered to refund you fully and put you up for the evening at no expense in another high-quality unit of ours 5 minutes away, which you declined. So, we cancelled on your request and gave you a 100% refund for you to find other accommodations. Fredericksburg very rarely has freezes that last as long as the one that caused this issue, and this has never been a problem before or since this occasion this property at. Even so, we will be implementing extra precautionary efforts moving forward when extreme weather events like this happen, and future guests can rest assured that this will not be a re-occurring issue.
