It was a great last minute getaway with my wife, very peaceful and relaxing. The host had literally thought of everything to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. From the QR codes on how everything works to the s’mores basket left in the kitchen for the fire pit. If you’re looking for a secluded relaxing getaway, this is where you want to go. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook a New York strip steak at 9 PM in a cast-iron pan!!!!

Great Stay

The cabin was very charming and beautiful decorated. the game downstairs is perfect for kids and with barcodes on everything it was very user friendly.

Spring break hiking

Excellent property with a lot for a family to do. About 45 min from some of the best hiking in PA, the Ricketts Glen Falls Trail.

Everything with our stay was great.Check in was a breeze with keyless entry. Property was super clean with anything you would need to cook/stay. Nice stream out back and plenty of open area to enjoy the outdoors. Hot tub is a nice bonus. The only thing I didn’t notice in the listing was the second “house” or small unit. It was pretty close to the cabin and the cabin looks more remote in the listing. Someone was at the small house but it was not an issue, just not something I expected based on the listing. Overall property is 5 stars.

Great gateway for family

This stay was pure bliss. The place was cozy, quiet, and perfectly relaxing—exactly what my family and I needed to unplug and unwind. The host really thought of everything: kayaks, life jackets, a floating tube, lawn chairs, and even firewood for those peaceful evenings around the fire. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

The cabin was great! It was well-kept, and super clean! We brought two toddlers, and it was perfect for them. We enjoyed the snow outside, the video games, all of the little touches for the kids and adults. It was perfect! Such a beautiful little cabin, the host put so much thought into all of the little details (and videos on how to use everything)! If you're looking for a relaxing, cozy weekend with your family this place is wonderful!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

What a beautiful property! The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The little touches, like the smores kit, made it that much special. I hope to return in the spring, I would love to see the property in every season.

Our stay at the lodge was the perfect getaway to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday! The cabin was exactly as described, very well maintained, and as seen in the pictures - so very cozy! It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Our kids absolutely loved playing the old school video games and connect 4. They each “fostered” a fishy friend from the bunk room and loved hanging out in there. We had enough snow to do some sled riding by the creek. The sleds were perfect! We enjoyed exploring the area - highly recommend checking out Little Rocky Glen and Nay Aug Park. We also took a day trip to Camel Back for snow tubing fun. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a fun day exploring! We are so happy that we found this little gem and will absolutely be back!

Our stay was great! I loved all the little details they put into the property. Felt like a treasure hunt. A blast to the past. I appreciated the barcodes and Youtube videos explaining how to work everything. Took the stress out of it. Very clean. Hot tub was hot and shower was great! Loved being on the creek with the kayaks. Wonderful clean, cozy cabin on the river

We truly enjoyed Thanksgiving at the beautiful, clean, cozy cabin on the Tunkhannock creek. The owners spared no attention to detail. The home was ready for us to enjoy on arrival. The smores kit with fire sticks was a nice little touch. It was perfect for our family including our kids ages 11, 10, and 8. We all loved the animal pelts, fishing in the river, the firepit, the variety of video games and board games, and the relaxation of the hot tub. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again.

Great little getaway

We couldn’t have been happier with our mid winter getaway from it all! The big kids loved the old Timey Nintendo games and the young kids did too…mostly just appalled at the mediocre graphics us old timers had as kids haha We loved the hot tub. We would have Loved an outside fire but it was too cold. The fireplaces were awesome. The decor is great!The cabin was clean and tidy when we got there. One of the best parts is the amenities provided..:linens, paper goods etc. I speak for everyone in my family by saying we would love to return !
