Welcome to the Hacienda, our paradise in the city. This 4000 square-foot two level home is situated on top of the mountain, providing amazing panoramic views of the city. Everything has been chosen to provide comfort and an unparalleled vacation experience. This is our home and we are excited to share it with you, every detail caters to providing a relaxing and fun space. The house is centrally located in the procedures town of Guaynabo, 15 to 20 minutes from the airport and major attractions like old San Juan, and many more
The house was perfect for my group. Secluded and the need for a rental car or private transportation is necessary as the ubers definitely avoided our area. The house could use a good pressure wash but outside of that absolutely gorgeous. The pool was heated and fabulous. Views were breathtaking
Just like the description- it was beautiful and we had a great time. Host was very helpful in suggestions of restaurants, beaches, and activities as well.
We came this weekend for our friendâs bachelor party and this accommodated 10 of us perfectly. Itâs a huge home with plenty of space, a good size pool, with a big backyard overlooking the city. Highly recommend this space as a nice getaway. Also, Ubers had no problem picking us up at night when we went out.
Pros: The property is beautiful. The house sits on a mountain and overlooks amazing views of the city. Itâs secluded enough for both privacy and safety and the pool is perfectly placed. The house offers everything you need to feel at home and there is enough space for all 8 of us to have our own space. I needed to contact the owners a few times and they responded immediately each time.
Cons: The house is older and could use some updating to the showers/shower heads/knobs etc. We often took cool showers because the water would not heat up. Even though there are ceiling fans, there is no air condition downstairs which makes it uncomfortable in 90 degrees (each room upstairs has its own remote controlled a/c unit that works great!) Also the house is about 25 minutes to the airport and 25 minutes to San Juan. There is a great bar at the bottom of the mountain and the grocery store 10 minutes away but nightlife and restaurants are closer to 20 mins.
I would definitely stay here again!!
The property is beautiful however, it seems like itâs been neglected for some time. The outside of house and driveway need a good pressure washing as there is moss making it look dingy. The windows were also dirty and in need of a good cleaning. I understand that being up on a hill can lead to more accumulation of dust but maybe wipe things down before guests arrive. The bedrooms were again, just ok. Bedding is old and stained in some of the rooms. We found a clip on nail on the ânight standâ next to the bed in one of the spare bedrooms. And an open but unused tampon in the master bathroom which tells me they did a rushed job at cleaning the place if at all. The toilets had the âsealâ saying they had been sanitized for our protection but I highly doubt that was the case given the state of the rest of the house. The fake plants throughout the house havenât been dusted in god knows how long because there was a lot of accumulation. We also had the pool guy show up one day and while we understand this was disclosed, it would have been nice if he would have knocked or something to let us know he was here instead of just running into him when going outside for safety reasons. Itâs also inconvenient for guests as the pool cannot be used for a few hours after itâs been treated which the pool was one of the reasons for staying here. The main living areas have no ac and some of the fans in the game room and kitchen didnât work. The ac units in the bedrooms were fine.
