An attached garage protects your vehicle from the harsh desert sun. For our guests who drive EVs, there’s a private, overnight charging station (50AMP, 240V) installed (bring your own cable). The garage is big enough to fit two compact cars or one oversized SUV (additional curb-side parking available).

For digital nomads and flexcation guests, the home’s WiFi speed clocks at up to 500mbps, so you can be confident in taking Zoom calls while the kiddos watch their favorite movie in the other room.

For Golf and Tennis fans, our cable subscription is upgraded to include the Golf Channel and Tennis Channel. In addition to the 55” TV in the Living Room, all three bedrooms have their own TV (no more fighting over the remote!)

Our nearly 1800 sq ft home welcomes those who love life and all the adventures it has to offer. The spacious Great Room is an inviting space for entertaining, whether watching the big game, or celebrating a milestone birthday. Enjoy family board game night, or have a quiet evening relaxing by the fireplace.

With solid granite countertops throughout, the Kitchen is equipped for cooking simple homemade meals, and boasts stainless steel appliances including a 5-burner gas stove & oven, full-size refrigerator with water/ice dispenser, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, coffeemaker, and more.

The Dining Table comfortably seats six (6) adults. Attached fold-out leafs allow the table to expand to make room for more. The large and sunny Outdoor Patio provides additional table seating for six al fresco style.

BBQ your signature burger on the Char Broil Infrared grill. Enjoy the fresh air while reading your favorite book on our outdoor cushioned loveseat with an ottoman. Leisurely sip your coffee while people-watching from your own private mini-bistro table. Raise a glass as you watch the early sunset behind the Santa Rosa mountains. Or host your own Catalina Wine Mixer! LOL. A low pony wall encloses the entire outdoor patio space (let the kiddos outside with less worry of them wandering away). The closest pool is kitty-corner across the way, so you can surreptitiously keep an ear on your group from a distance.

The Primary King Suite has a private full bath ensuite, with step-in shower, soaking tub, and separate his/her sinks. The suite is a private escape in and of itself, with a desk/workstation, one-touch gas fireplace, and TV. Two sliding door closets provide plenty of storage, with additional cabinet space in the oversized bathroom. Bedroom window has views of the surrounding mountains. A second doorway leads outside directly onto the main outdoor patio.

A second King Suite is located down the hallway, at the opposite end of the home. This King Suite is more suited for the introverts of the group, offering more privacy away from the Great Room, along with its isolated work desk, tucked into a tiny niche, perfect for taking Zoom calls. The Suite has a wall-mounted Smart TV (no cable), that can double as a laptop or game monitor (HDMI input). Private bathroom ensuite with step-in shower. A triple sliding door closet provides plenty of storage space.

The third Bedroom is furnished with a Queen Bed, as well as a Twin-size Bed with an extra pull-out Trundle. Wall-mounted TV. Full bathroom with tub/shower combo is located directly across from the bedroom door.

Our Central HVAC system is independent from other units, and will keep you cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. Wall-switch operated ceilings fans in all the rooms help circulate and ventilate fresh air on fair-weather days.

A dedicated Laundry Room with washer/dryer and deep wash-sink allows you to do the laundry day or night since you can close the door (if needed) for quiet.

Our home is special to us and we’re happy to share its reinvigorating magic with others. When you make our home your desert escape, we hope you’ll be able to unwind and rejuvenate. We named our place Rancho Descanso because Descano means “a place free of worry,” a place to rest and recover. SUNDRIES: A courtesy starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo + conditioner, dish soap, dishwasher packs, and laundry detergent is provided for your stay. Any further supplementation, or additional cleaning products, are the responsibility of the guest.
