Nice place to to stay! Everything was a short drive, all amenities were accessible in the home also! Wpuld consider this property again in future stay!
We stayed for three days for a family reunion. The space was open and bright and clean. We are a big family and used to sharing a bathroom so we did really well!
The house is set up well with a very neat kids room, perfect for our kids (<10) and also another bedroom upstairs and downstairs. The yard was large and secure and we brought our dog.
This was our first time to Michigan for a family vacation. Which made it our first time to Muskegon. This house was a nice place for us to stay as a family with our family pet. It was a great location for us to be able to walk to a couple restaurants and, a local store, and a short jog to the beautiful public beaches in Muskegon. Thereâs also an ice cream shop in walkable distance as well. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating.
We enjoyed our stay. The home is super cute, so welcoming and very clean. We knew from the description and reviews there was only one bathroom and that it was upstairs. That was no problem for us. If we are ever in the area again we will absolutely rebook.
We loved being able to bring our doodle with the family on a short trip to Muskegon for a cross country meet. Super cute and clean house in a quiet neighborhood that was an easy drive to everything. We will definitely keep it in mind for the future!
The property was even better than we expected! We spent hours every morning on the porch with our coffee. The privacy fence and separate mud room to the backyard were perfect for our pups! The location was ideal for heading to the lake for a quick trip or a long day. We plan to make this an annual friend trip!
Overall the entire property was great! Everything was accessible & easy to use. There was a lovely backyard if you have your fur babies, little ones or just want to relax outside yourself. My only small complaint would be the upstairs being a bit stuffy. I would definitely stay again!
The home's interior was pleasant and well-appointed, providing all necessary amenities. However, the exterior presented a stark contrast: a neglected yard with overgrown areas and a disheveled, unkempt fence.
It was a beautiful home, we enjoyed our stay. We would have loved to be there when it was a nicer day to spend time out back, unfortunately we stayed when it was chillier and raining. We will for sure be back. Very close to the deck, which is where we went to see a band live that we loved. We will be back!
We enjoyed our Lakeside Experience, visiting Muskegon during peak foliage around Lake Michigan. We appreciated the Lakeside Experience's access to several state parks and dunes. Our family enjoyed the home's setup and the outdoor space to play, grill, and campfire. The home presented enough living space for our family of five, with two twin beds and two full beds.
We hope to revisit the area to enjoy what Muskegon has to offer during the summer and winter months.
Cozy house close to Muskegon beach. Checkin process was very easy. House was as expected. Note the bathroom is upstairs (which was expected) but may not be convenient for all guests. Bedrooms were very nice with comfy beds. Plenty of room for me and 3 teenagers. We loved the lounge chair in the living room and the swing chairs in the front porch!
Our stay was great, the place was clean and easy to check into. Very cute and homey. We were there during a massive heatwave and the upstairs did get a bit hot. But everything was great! I did communicate with the host a lot and heâs very kind and respectful!
Great quaint neighborhood, lakeside getaway and accommodating host
Eddie was very kind and accommodating to our group. He even provided a high chair and a travel crib upon request.
The house is old but cute. Eddie did a good job of making sure we were comfortable. The neighborhood is cute in a better part of town. You can walk to the trail along lake Muskegon and to local establishments which is a nice bonus.
I would note that it is an old house so just expect that the stairs will creek and the bathroom is on the second floor which feels weird at first. Overall a good option.
Definitely enough room for the 7 of us. There were a couple things I consider hazards depending on your age and mobility. Shower liner way to long and the 2nd bottom step is hard to see. Almost missed it several times
For you birthday, My husband and I with two other couples rented this cozy home for a night. It was exactly what we wanted. We enjoyed The music and food at The Deck then heading to the house so we didnât have to drive home. It was fabulous.
