Muskegon Michigan Cozy Cottage 5 Min to Downtown 10 Min to beach
Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. 10 minutes from the beautiful Pere Marquette Beach. 4 minutes to closest boat ramp to muskegon lake with access to Lake Michigan, Bear Lake and Muskegon River. Fantastic fishing year around and great Ice fishing. 15 minutes to Muskegon state park with several hiking/biking trails as well as an Olympic snow luge course and wheeled luge course zip lines and more. Great eats and nightlife nearby
Basically clean and the backyard was nice. The neighbors are nice but the neighborhood is a bit run down. My wife came home with bedbugs from the queen bed. The washer backed up and spewed water all over the basement. They came right away to mop up the water and a plumber came a few days later to fix the washer and drain. The kitchen sink gurgles when you take a shower but it works just fine. Strong water pressure in the shower. That was nice. Strong Wifi but the TV doesnât have any local channels. It is all streaming. The A/C worked well. The kitchen was OK. They provided shower gel, shampoo, toothbrushes, coffee, and a few little nice things like that. I would stay there again but prefer other neighborhoods if I am spending that much money to visit West Michigan.
Our stay at this lovely home in Muskegon was great. It is a sweet older house that has been beautifully updated. There was plenty of space in the living room for the 4 of us to sit and watch TV together. There was plenty of space to sit and eat. The air conditioning worked very well. It was a hot few days and the house stayed nice and cool all the time. There were fans provided in the bedrooms but since the AC worked so well we never needed to use them. The bathroom is small but the shower is nice. My family is all tall so we appreciate a nice big shower with a tall shower head. The floors are creaky so you can't sneak up on anyone. -)The home was very clean. Talking with the hosts was easy and he was very helpful and nice. The neighborhood is tucked behind some business and just off a major road. The traffic noise was a little bit loud but it didn't bother us. You really couldn't notice it with the windows and doors shut. The back yard was small but nice. There is a nice big table and chairs on a patio. The house is located about 10 mins from Pier Marquette Beach. We went there for an afternoon. It is a nice big beach. There was a 10 fee for parking there that I didn't realize ahead of time but it all worked out. Over all this was a great place to stay while in Muskegon and we would absolutely consider staying there again.
We came up for a combo beach/Unity Fest week.
The property is nice. Bedrooms nice sized, needed the walk in shower for my Dad, that was nice.
Itâs 1 property from a busy road, so bring good ear plugs! The front bedroom has only thin blinds and it was bright @ night. The kitchen has all the basic necessities
Came for the weekend with a friend. The house was great size for the two of us. The check-in process was very easy. The host, Chase, was very responsive whenever we had questions. Would definitely recommend.
