Scottâs place was perfect for our night in Marquette. Downtown was walkable, the space was clean, and tidy, and the process was easy. Would definitely recommend.
Marquette is known for its walkability and easy going downtown atmosphere. The house was in a perfect location to enjoy downtown Marquette and walk to NMUâs campus. The house was comfortable for all 6 of us and the host communicated with positivity and ease. We will definitely book again given the opportunity to travel to the UP again!
We were in Marquette for our niece's wedding. The location of this home is perfect with plenty of local conveniences: coffee, food, brewery, downtown, the lake shore, Northern Minnesota University campus, and beautiful Presque Isle Park. The home was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much. We will be returing!
We loved our stay here! The house is in a great location and the neighborhood is quiet. Scott was easy to communicate with prior to and during our stay. We will definitely stay here again on a future trip to Marquette!
The house is very comfortable and well stocked. We loved the decor and the floor layout. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and some daytime visitors. Lastly, it is close to all the fun and food available on 3rd Street. I would definitely love to stay here again!
Lovely house in a great location. Owners have set up the house with everything you need to enjoy time in Marquette. The house is close to restaurants, shopping, the beach and other attractions. We loved sitting on the front porch each morning.
We came to Marquette to visit our son who attends NMU. The location was PERFECT. Itâs very close to campus and close enough to walk to all the Third street restaurants/bars/coffee shops and even downtown is walkable from there. The house is cute and the main level was spacious enough to have my son and his buddies over for dinner and games one of the evenings. Was ideal for what we needed. Thanks!
Home is very clean and in close proximity to many local restaurants, bars, and other necessities. Communication with the host was excellent and made sure everything was going according to plan with the property. Would definitely recommend this spot!
We were so pleased with this property. The listing matched the property perfectly and may not do it justice. The rooms are well appointed and the decor is tasteful and adorable.
We were able to give our NMU freshman soem comforts of home with homecooked meals, puzzles/games and a cozy movie night in all while being centrally located to all that the area has to offer. Our hosts were responsive and made the process easy and relaxed. We will definitely be back!
It was so cute, cozy and convenient to downtown. Well stocked. Owner very helpful and responded quickly to questions. Enjoyed time with family. Love Marquette and hope to stay there again!
Awesome place! Actually matches the pictures online, not necessarily always so, as we all know. Plenty of room. Well laid out. Close to all the fun stuff. Great communication. We would definitely stay again, even with more people. We were only two, with our son joining us for the last night.
The house is well represented in the photos. It includes all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Including board games:). The location is perfect. Close to the University, trails and downtown for shopping, meals and entertainment.
The home was very clean and in a great location. The driveway only has room for one vehicle; however, we had no issues finding parking on the street in front of the house. We were able to walk downtown for coffee or food and Blackrocks brewery was just a few blocks away. Overall we had a great stay and would not hesitate to book this property again.
We have stayed at a few properties in Marquette; this is our favorite. You can't beat the location, but the house itself is the sell. It is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. The hosts think of all the little things - games, cream in the refrigerator, a first aid kit, labels on switches, etc. We most definitely will stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. We found the home spotless, well equipped and very comfortable. Itâs walking distance to several restaurants and close to downtown. The only negative, no AC and it was very hot in Marquette during our stay, there were fans in the bedrooms which help a little. This may not be an issue with cooler temperatures. Otherwise no complaints! The owner replied to our questions immediately and super cooperative with us!
I'd give this rental a 10/5 if I could! It checked the boxes for my most important requirements- cleanliness & location. It's a beautiful older home in a quiet neighborhood-spotless & organized, appearing to be recently renovated. Walkable to the beach, downtown restaurants and shopping, and hot spots for food (Togos, Vangos), coffee and beer just steps away. The layout is cozy yet spacious. We had 4 adult children in their 20s and there was enough bedrooms and the extra half bath was perfect. One chose to sleep on the couch and it pulled out into a bed. The property owners clearly put a lot of thought into every detail right down to labeling and coffee creamer in the fridge. There were ample kitchen supplies, more pillows and blankets than anywhere else we've stayed, plenty of extra seating, a game room, and quiet fenced-in yard with fire pit and comfortable outdoor seating. We walked to the Blueberry Fest and Art on the Rocks and it was only a short drive to grocery stores and hiking (highly recommended Dead River Falls). Scott was quick to respond and easy to work with. Our Marquette family stopped by and were very impressed. My niece is a property manager downstate and got lots of ideas from the delightful decor and finishing touches. The only downside is that there were very few outlets and no AC. Both to be expected in an older home but something for renters to be prepared for, especially if it's hot. We had great temps and there are fans in every room so it was fine.
