Great view

This home has a great view of the Fairplay Valley area. It was very relaxing to sit on the deck watch the sun rise or just enjoy the day. It is a great location and easy to get to surrounding towns such as Breckenridge and Buena Vista. We enjoyed getting out and about and taking advantage of the two trails that are just up the road from the house within a five minute drive. The road going in during the summer was a little rough, but definitely manageable without four-wheel-drive.

Get away 2023

This was our second visit to CO and we couldn't have been happier to have chosen this property to stay at. It was very comfortable, and had plenty of space. With the split floors, the Pac Man Arcade Game, all the games, there's plenty space to have lots of fun. The VIEW is about the best it can get. From either balcony, the view is incredible. All the amenities, bedrooms, kitchen and living area was just perfect for our group.

Not worth it.

Host was not very communicative. Microwave and dishes were dirty. 2 washcloths in the whole house. We ended up having altitude sickness and had to leave a couple days early. The host would not even respond to me.

Chasity - your feedback could not be more misleading, damaging and untruthful. - We were in constant communication through text, and I even offered a way of providing a refund, to which you never responded. - You completely ignored check-in instructions.. You ignored a suggestions to help with the altitude sickness (also mentioned in check-in instructions and in the house description before booking that the house is located at 11,000ft and that it's important to hydrate before and during your trip). I actually called you to provide information on how to handle altitude sickness and asked you to please keep me in the loop on how you were all feeling. - You arrived 4 hours before the check-in time without even consulting. After the fact, I Iet you know that it was ok to drop off your bags, nonetheless, you stayed and were rushing the cleaning crew to finish up. We had a large group check-out just 30min prior. The crew called me to please ask you to give them time and let me know how uncomfortable you were making them feel; being constantly asked how long it was going to take for them to finish. - You brought a pet to the house and never disclosed this or paid the corresponding fees. - I'm not sure if you're referring to the kitchen towels (which there's a basket in the kitchen with an additional four than the two that we hang out), but all bathrooms have both wash cloths and at least 4 clean towels per bathroom. In any case, there's a reason why I've been a Superhost on Airbnb and a Premier host on VRBO for the past two years. I pride myself in always being attentive and accommodating to my guests and ensuring guests have the best experience possible, so your comments are totally unfair and uncalled for. Not to mention this is the first time in two years hosting, that I've ever had to write a response to a review. HOSTS BEWARE!

You're only a 35-40min drive to downtown Breckenridge, 15 min drive to downtown Fairplay or 15 min to Alma. Did you know that Fairplay is known as the official Trout Fishing Capital of Colorado? Anglers, be sure to bring your fishing gear, as you'll want to throw a line in more than 50 miles of Gold Medal trout streams! It's a fisher's dream in the summer, see the beautiful foliage changes in the fall and a winter wonderland in snow season. Really a place to enjoy all year round!
