Detached Cottage (1bd/1ba Guest House) over the garage of a beautiful pine forest home on a quiet cuddle sac. Great for 1 or 2 people to get away to the cool pines of the Coconino Forest or as your home base for skiing in the winter. Private Deck with beautiful views of the forest. Backyard with grill, firepit, and hot tub (shared amenties with any guests in the Main House).
Warning: stairs must be taken to access the property. The Main House may be rented during your stay. Contact us for details.
The property can get snowy/icy in the winter. You are accessing the property at your own risk. The path and stairs up to the guest house can get wet/snowy/icy. Also, if it snows days before your stay or during your stay the roads will get plowed however you may need 4 wheel drive or tire chains in order to safely traverse the roads.
Air Conditioning in the summer - Portable AC available for the hottest part of the summer. Primary source of cooling, though, is the cool nighttime air. We send instructions on how to cool the home efficiently.
Heat in the winter - Central A/C furnace. Fireplace provides some heat but is mainly aesthetic.
Kachina Village is a quiet and peaceful community just 5-10 minutes south of Flagstaff. The property is backed by a large ravine, dense with pine trees. There is a deck accessible from both the living room and the bedroom. Book your tranquil getaway today.
No Parties â Monitored Home Warning:
VRBO has banned parties. Parties are not just disallowed at this home, they are illegal at short term vacation rentals in Arizona. Do not attempt to host a party. A party is defined as having more people on this property than it's occupancy (2), and/or having more cars than this listing allows (1), and/or having excessive noise. Violating any of these three things will result in eviction, rent will not be reimbursed, and you will forfeit your damage deposit. In all cases you, as the guest, are fully responsible for all damage done to properties you rent. The property has video cameras monitoring the exterior of the home. There are no cameras inside. There is also a Noise Monitoring system. If you are not hosting a party you have nothing to worry about. The noise monitoring is not listening or recording what is being said. These systems are solely in place to protect the home and prevent disputes with our neighbors. We have been vacation rental Premiere Hosts for over 7 years. We take feedback from our guests to continuously improve what we can. We want you to be comfortable during your stay. We have been hosting guests since 2016 and have been using vacation rentals for our own family vacations for over a decade. We leverage all that experience to create an exceptional stay for you.

We will, however, do everything in our power to fix the situation and if that is not possible will work with VRBO to help you find alternative arrangements. Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
We looked for over a year to find a home in Flagstaff that was close enough to get to groceries and restaurants in town but also enough out of town that we are away from it all in the forest. We wanted a densely treed property that wasn't squished up against neighbors. The house has been recently renovated with high quality materials and appliances. We saw so much potential with this property and were so excited to be able to purchase in 2022.

Cottage is above the garage and is a detached building away from the main house. Has a private, separate entrance. We have other listings that allow guests to book the full property with the Main House and Cottage together. The Main House may also be booked separately. Booking this listing reserves the Cottage just for you. Gas fireplace. Backyard area has a hot tub, propane gas grill, and propane firepit. These amenities would be shared with any guests that may be staying in the Main House.
