the location is very close to snowbowl yet tucked away a bit off the main roadthe split set up is great for my older teens so they have their own space the decor is cozy and relaxing
Not a bad place to stay especially if you're not going to be at home much. Has basic necessities but the plumbing is loud and there was a knocking noise in the wall that can be heard from downstairs bed which kept me up several nights. The oven is missing the start button and could not be used. Blender also did not work when trying to make blended frozen drinks on a hot day. No dish towels available...I believe this was converted from a garage to a living space by somewhat of an amateur builder. Bugs crawled out of the gap between the poorly cut/nonsealed sheetrock when starting the shower downstairs etc.
I really enjoyed my time at this cute cabin with so many windows and vaulted ceilings. Wifi worked great. One morning with the door open while having coffee, 5 bucks paid a visit and grazed just 20-30â in front of the cabin. Beautiful to see. So nice to stay in the pines but still be close to town.
Property was in an excellent location, especially if you plan to visit Snowbowl. Cabin was very cozy and 5 stars, but unfortunately the bathrooms were only a 3 star.
We had a great weekend at this property. Everything was exactly as described. We had a fun weekend in the snow. I especially appreciated that the roads leading to this property were plowed often. Itâs a great location close to Snowbowl. Would absolutely stay again!
This property was perfect for us and our needs. We put Mom upstairs, and my husband and I took the top bunk in the downstairs, and our two dogs took the floor. The downstairs is perfect if you have pets. The yard is huge, the location was great. We will return!
We always try to stay in a VRBO when we travel, and this cottage is one of my favorites. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Kitchen is well-supplied, and the couple of times we had a question, we were able to reach to owner in a timely manner. Hope to stay again as Flagstaff is a wonderful area to visit.
My family and I loved this cottage. The location is perfect, as its close to the snowbowl and hiking trails. The house decor is welcoming, and relaxing, and he rooms are spacious. Master bedroom, kitchen and living room are upstairs; and bunk beds and family room are downstairs. Just an fyi- no indoor stairs, so you need to go outside to get upstairs/downstairs. There is a fenced backyard, rather great if you have dogs. This place was great and i highly recommend.
Everything was exactly as we wanted. A place for our dog and kids to have a good time. We weren't able to ski due to the wind so we enjoyed the extra time we had in this beautiful home. We can't wait to stay here again!
Staying at this cabin was an absolute delight! Itâs cozy, inviting, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The extra space downstairs was a nice bonus, offering additional options for relaxation or activities. Its proximity to Snowbowl Road was a huge plus, especially for my teen son who couldnât wait to hit the slopes. Plus, being close to grocery stores and restaurants made meal planning a breeze. The location truly is perfect! From pots and pans to toiletries, the cabin had it all - it felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient getaway in Flagstaff!
Loved this cute cabin and the proximity to snowbowl and downtown! Had everything we needed. We stayed in the upper apartment - we didnât read the listing closely enough and didnât realize the downstairs and upstairs werenât connected. This was only a problem since we have a 3 y/o, but we fixed it by using the rollaway cot found in the closet (thank you!)
We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Our two teenage sons stayed in the lower unit and my husband and I stayed in the upper unit. Our two Boston Terriers enjoyed running in the backyard. It is comfortable and quiet and close to Snow Bowl. My sons really enjoyed the arcade style game in the lower unit! The bathrooms could use some love, but that is really the only complaint we had. We would definitely stay again!
A wonderful bit of property with a fenced in backyard so our dogs could roam around a bit. The whole upstairs is perfect for a couple and the downstairs has plenty of room for more guests. The kitchen had a great amount of cooking ware and utensils. The cabinets were stocked with enough salt and pepper for a couple years, lol. It also had an assortment of seasonings and spices.
I didnât realize the two stories of this home can each only be entered from the outside, so they are not connected in any way from the inside. It ended up working out great because our adult son could stay in the separate area downstairs and have some privacy. The back yard is great and our dog enjoyed running around. We had everything we needed to cook a late Thanksgiving meal. The location is about 15 minutes from the downtown area. Itâs a nice and private area and we enjoyed our stay!
The cottage is located in a beautiful location on the outskirts of Flagstaff. Easy access to hiking, Snowbowl and everything in Flagstaff. The check in process was seamless and very easy. The cottage is 2 stories and I found it a bit odd that there was no indoor stairway between. We had to walk outside to go up or down stairs. Also, the beds were horribly uncomfortable. There are three beds (a bunk bed and a double/queen bed) and we slept on all 3 trying to get a good night's sleep. I love that the property allows dogs. Although I didn't bring my dog, he would have loved the large, beautiful yard.
Overall great stay! The price is great for this place before cleaning, pet and taxes are added. Once those are factored in I would say its a bit expensive. Pros: location, quiet, clean, fenced in yard, comfy bed, comfy couch. Cons: some areas need a face lift ( holes in walls), bathroom could use a remodel and as a person who is sensitive to smells I had to remove the laundry detergent and scented candles because I got a headache. I also thought it was a bit odd that with such a high cleaning fee they ask you to start the cleaning process upon checkout. Would probably stay again! Close to trails, super quiet!
Came with our family of 5 + a dog. Saw the pics of the bunk beds in separate room and thought that would be great for our young kids. Didn't realize that was on a separate floor with no way to get there from the inside. Maybe I misread the listing (but don't think I did). But it felt too awkward to have my young kids sleep downstairs in a different space, where the only way to get could get to us was to go outside, go up some stairs, enter through a keypad locked door (I am glad the doors have keypad locks, just hard for kids to use them in an emergency if needed). Hopefully that makes sense.
When we first opened the door, the upstairs floor smelled like some sort of animal pee (dog I'm guessing) and some of the carpet was pretty muddy. We quickly opened all the windows, which helped with the aroma. Im sure that's not the norm, but probably from the previous visitors.
On a positive note, we were having trouble with the washer/Dryer, and the owner was quick to respond and help us.
Our dog loved the back yard, and was super convenient for that.
