Perfect Desert Getaway

This was my first time visiting Joshua tree, and this house was the perfect desert getaway for a quick trip out of the city. It is a great location for stargazing. The communication with the property manager was great and he helped me with my questions. I look forward to coming back for another trip soon.

Fantastic

Had a wonderful stay here with a group of friends. Loved the design, rain shower, hot tub and comfortable beds. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Loved the property. Excellent amenities, lots of games, close to Joshua Tree coffee and cafe. Great hot tub and convenient window going from kitchen to outside. A bit close to the street (noise) but did not hinder the stay. Comfortable beds and super clean.

The house was spacious with a beautiful kitchen and outdoor area. It was also on a main road so the traffic sounds were not as relaxing as it could have been.

Great place to stay!

The property was a cool spot to stay! The decor was pleasing to look at. The kitchen has a lot of counter space. The jacuzzi lights up a pretty green and blue. There are also lights in the trees and along the fence in the backyard that I absolutely loved. Lots of yard space, which was great for our dog. The beds were very comfortable. The only recommendation we have is the front door has a window that we felt should have some sort of privacy feature, so people that drive by on the road can’t see directly in to the house. Overall we would highly recommend this place!

Quiet and comfortable

We had an amazing weekend at the Cantina in the desert! We spent a weekend there for a girls trip and found it to have everything we needed. It was located 15 minutes away from Joshua Tree national Park, where we spent the afternoon on Saturday. We came back to enjoy a grilled dinner on the patio and some time in the hot tub. We finished our evenings off with a friendly game of pool in the spacious living room. The house is organized and decorated beautifully and we felt right at home. David, our host, was great at communicating and made sure we had everything we needed. I’d highly recommend this space to anyone staying in the area.!

Great home in Joshua tree

The home was exactly as described and depicted. We had a great weekend stay with our pets. The backyard is fully enclosed and private. The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen was amazing! Highly recommend it

Amazing stay!

This cantina in the desert was PERFECT for my desert getaway trip. So close to the park entrance and all the downtown shops. Our home had everything you need and more with very comfortable beds! The hot tub was perfect at night overlooking the stars. Everything was clean and fresh and we were very comfortable.

Desert Cantina

Loved the open space of the kitchen,dining,living room area. Loved the full size pool table as well as the spa and hammocks in the back for star gazing. Everything worked as it should and we really enjoyed our short stay!

Great get away spot!

Beautiful home, clean, with all the amenities you need for a relaxing get away. Close to the Joshua Tree National Park, and located near all the shopping needs you may have. Nothing like a soak in a hot tub under the stars!

Perfect Joshua Tree getaway

Phenomenal property. Loved the kitchen and the pool. Completely fenced in meant we could hang while the dogs ran around. High end pool table. Extremely comfortable bed. Great stay. Perfect trip.

Modern and clean

Once we gained access our stay was fine. The VRBO website had a problem with my two email addresses and it was not resolvable online. I would suggest that more floor coverings be added especially in winter as the cement floor was very cold.

Desert Getaway with Doggos

My husband, my best friend and I stayed at this property with our 2 dogs. Beautiful property, well maintained, clean, quick drive into town, great hiking trail for our dogs just a 3-minute drive away (we did the Friendly Hills hike since dogs are not allowed in JT Nat'l Park). Three separate fenced in yards made having our doggos with us so easy and so fun. The back fenced yard was huge and a great place to play fetch. Host was very responsive. Would recommend to anyone!

Perfect Location

We had a great stay! This location was perfect for visits to the national park . We took breaks from the park here and would return after for sunset and night time sky views. The kitchen was set up perfectly for dining in. David was quick to respond to questions. Highly recommend it.

Cozy Cantina

The Cantina is exactly as pictured on vrbo. It has a cozy vibe that’s equally good for a family as well as a couples getaway. The primary bedroom has a very comfortable bed, which is always a delightful surprise when away from home, and the linens felt soft and comfortable. Great choice for a quick getaway in the Joshua Tree area!

Cantina in the Desert-A Relaxing Respite from the Real World

From the outside, you would not guess that the interior of this property is so modern and airy. The decor was the right mix of local, casual, and contemporary. The dining room table was large enough to accommodate our meals and a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle in progress. We enjoyed playing pool in the evenings and drinking our morning coffee at the table in the backyard. The beds were comfortable and clean. We loved the location as well. We were close to the JT park entrance. On Saturday, we discovered a fun and interesting market just a few minutes away and close to our favorite climbing supply store—NomadVentures. We did some serious shopping at both places supporting local entrepreneurs. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks to our helpful, responsive and friendly host. We highly recommend the Cantina in the Desert and would love to visit again.

Lovely Desert Getaway

The house is so beautifully appointed and comfortable. It was perfect for my dog and me--the fenced in property is perfect to keep your pup safe and happy. I loved the backyard space, spending the day floating in the pool and the evenings in the hot tub. And cooking in the kitchen was a real pleasure. Great location close to shopping and restaurants. Super responsive host who happily answered all my questions. Beatiful, relaxing long weekend. Would go back any time!

Great location, needs some improvement

Location from Joshua Tree is great - 6 miles as stated on the listing. Decor is amazing. But the house is right on a busy road that is noisy all day and night - wouldn’t be an issue if you don’t mind it but we are light sleepers!
