Relax in your own comfortable 1,500 lower level of custom built home high on the hill in the West Valley area of Yakima. Expansive views of the entire valley. Wake up to see the Ahtanum Hills and Mount Adams. Enjoy hiking/mountain biking in Cowiche trail right nearby. Great restaurants, breweries, wineries and live music.

The space:

Enjoy a large space with living room, pool table, dining area, covered outside Patio with view. with two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other has a full sized bed and twin bed. There is also a good size kitchette, dining area, breakfast bar, pool table, living room with sofa, fireplace, TV, wi-fi, covered patio with a dining table and chairs and BBQ and a beautiful view. Kitchen: refrigerator,/freezer, microwave, infection stove top with convection/ toaster oven, dishwasher, Elite Keurig, French press, hot pot, teas, coffee pods, a Britta water pitcher in the frig. I provide cereals, bagles, cream cheeses and things to eat in freezer. I provide BBQing condiments, pots and pans for cooking. A large box of games for kids and adults available to use.

Note: No pets please. There will be an extra service fee of $25 a day for each adult guest beyond 4 people. Children stay free under the age of 12 but please note that my back yard has no fence and has terraces not suitable for small children. Also the place is not completely baby proofed such as the outlets, baby gates etc. There is a high chair available and there is also a travel crib available for infants. Pool table and piano are to be used by adults or young adults only.

Parking and accessibility:
1-2 cars allowed. No large work trucks. The apartment is accessible by going down a couple short sets of stairs on side of the house.

IMPORTANT HOUSE RULES: Guests are allowed in all areas except: The storage room on lower level and upstairs of home where I live. Only registered guests are allowed in the home unless prior approval by me has been made ahead of time. If this rule is not followed your reservation may be cancelled.
No drugs (of any kind) or heavy drinking. Social drinking is fine! No smoking inside the home. You may smoke (cigarettes only) on the patios using an ashtray.

The property is in a great neighborhood with stunning views. The deck is so relaxing-there are actually three different decks with views. It has amazing views wherever you sit and we could see one of the mountains. We found the beds to be very comfortable and the property had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience about your stay. It was always my intention to share with people that visit yakima the beauty of the valley and the serene spot that I am blessed to live in. I am sorry to say that in the future, the upstairs will no longer be available because I am moving back into the upstairs however, if you ever wanna come back to my Bnb and just the lower level, you’re welcome to come back and rent that spot. It’s advertised as Englewood crest nest! I can thank you for staying and having a good experience you were wonderful guests and are welcome to come back anytime

Off season visit to Yakima

Great home base for exploring the area! Yakima, Toppenish, Tieton, and wineries. Mt. Adams comes in and out of view, so fun. Thanks for providing some basic cooking necessities, that is very helpful.

Better than expected

This property was much better for a larger family than cramming into a small Yakima hotel room. The host was very communicative and even provided breakfast foods in the fridge! The expansive views were incredible, and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Great views and spacious place

This place is very spacious and the views of the mountain and valley are amazing! Our host was great! One thing to note you are renting to lower level of the house and there are steps to go down to the lower level. Other than that it was a great place to stay!!

We had a lovely stay at this property. I was attending a 55th Ike high school reunion. We enjoyed coffee outside in the morning, enjoying the beautiful view of Mt. Adams and visits from quail, scrub jays, hummingbirds and a red tailed hawk. The apt was very clean and worked out great for us. Thanks from the Baltimore, MD area.

Beautiful views

Clear check in instructions, beautiful views. Bagels, eggs, milk, coffee all stocked and great new grill to make our dinner on. Double bed was too soft for 2 adults so 1 of us slept in the single. Had fun playing pool and games in this comfortable space.

Beautiful and cozy place!

I love the patio area to sit outside, drink coffee and take in the view! The only negative thing I have to point out is the drop off from the grass, it is not safe for kids. My son did throw a toy down and my husband had to get it. Not sure if there is a way of putting a small fence or border. It was the perfect size for our little family!

Hello and thank you for considering Englewood Crest Nest. A quiet, relaxing, safe and homey place to stay. The view of the Ahtanum Hills you see from my property are the hills I grew up near as a young girl. I have lived in Alaska running a fishing lodge so being a BnB host sort of comes natural to me.

I am a music teacher and performing singer/songwriter. I love to cook and entertain friends and walk my sweet dog Marry. .

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Affluent neighborhood with one of the nicest views of the whole valley. You can see Mount Adams, the Ahtanum Hills all the way to downtown Yakima. I love the old growth trees here which allow for all kinds of birds to visit. Quail, Red Tail Hawk, finches, robins, Stellar Jays and owls. You might see our neighborhood bunnies running around as well. Everything is 10 to 15 minutes away.

Right down the hill there is a fun brew pub with a big grassy back yard and decent food called "The Kiln". At the shopping center there is a great Ramen place called "Captain Crab", Wes Side Pizza", "New York Terriaki", "Taco Bell" and Starbucks all near the Rosauer's grocery store.
