Escape for a romantic getaway to Hawaiiana Palms, a luxurious top-floor space for couples with palm tree and mountain views. A quick drive from downtown PS with an onsite luxurious pool and jacuzzi to soak up the desert sun!
Enjoy a private fully-stocked gourmet kitchen, dishwasher (newly added not in photos), and ensuite laundry. Tastefully decorated with Hawaiiana 50`s-era antiques. Snuggle up in the cozy king-size bed or hit the town!
We can sometimes accommodate shorter stays, just ask!

Your hideaway is in the desirable Twin Palms area, a short 2 miles to downtown shopping and dining. Ocotillo Lodge was designed by renowned architects Palmer and Krisel, built in 1957 on 7 acres by the Alexanders - a featured property during Modernism Week.
This is a beautifullly furnished, remodeled one bedroom open-floorplan Mid-century condo in the historic Ocotillo Lodge. Comfortable, stylish and tastefully decorated in modern Hawaiiana style with fun artwork and antique accouterments. Danish modern period furniture, your own tiki-themed drink cart add to the flair. Modern kitchen that`s perfect for cooking a romantic meal in -- top-end appliances and cookware.
Parking onsite in a lot that surrounds the complex -- super fast and easy access into the building, with immediate access to the unit up a short flight of stairs.
Community amenities include two jacuzzis, the biggest private pool in Palm Springs (famous champagne-cork shaped), and Sunset community grill area for evening cocktails, poolside.
The grounds of the Ocotillo Lodge are spectacularly landscaped and maintained with desert flora and abundant Washingtonian Palms will delight your senses as you stroll around complex for your evening walk :)
There are walkable amenities nearby with groceries (Ralph`s), restaurants (SOPA, King`s Highway, 533 Viet Fusion, Native Foods, El Mirasol and Elmer`s) and the best coffee in Palm Springs (Koffi South PS).
Downtown Palm Springs is a 6-minute straight-shot drive, and the airport is 12 minutes. Parking is super easy onsite; car is recommended to get around (Uber/Lyft are also possible).
You will be welcomed by our concierge (available throughout your stay) at check-in, in accordance with local Palm Springs short-term rental laws. Contact information will be provided at check-in.

The City of Palm Springs and Ocotillo Lodge HOA require a signed rental agreement and photo ID after booking is made (we will send these to you via Hellosign for convenient and quick e-signature); check-in is coordinated in-person with our local agent who is available 24x7.
Maximum 2 adults per City of Palm Springs; absolutely no pets (due to allergies).
Doorbell camera onsite (monitored).
đ STRICT NO PET POLICY Absolutely NO pets allowed (due to severe allergies). We monitor the doorbell camera upon check-in. Violations will incur a $1,000 fine and immediate removal from the property.

I love spending my time in different places in the world. Coming from a Mediterranean culture and climate I enjoy living in California. On one hand you get walkable access to nature, wild life, hiking and mountain biking and on the other accessibility to top notch international foods from all around.
I am an architect and a Qi Gong teacher. I teach in Marin and in SF. I enjoy Qi Gong, healing arts, health and fitness. I like art and architecture and appreciate our proximity to these. My love of the outdoors and nature and brought me to live here in this particular spot in California. I love to cook so I appreciate good food and access to great fresh organic produce, like here. The third largest farmers market in California is just few minutes drive away from our Marin San Rafael guest house.
Adam, my life partner, works in San Francisco in the tech industry and is a great cook and a gardener. We grow our own vegetables and raise bees and get our own honey on property in San Rafael CA. We would love for you to try it!

If you are a guest to our Palm Springs location home, Joshua Tree National Park, Many beautiful and shaded trail with waterfalls are around us like Murray Canyon Trail. Hike up the South Llyken Trail and watch the elusive wild Bighorn sheep.
If you are a swimmer, you are in heaven! Our pool is heated and half olympic size!
