Somewhere in Time Cottage is centrally located in Historic downtown Mackinaw City. Only about five blocks from Central Ave. in downtown where most the shops and restaurants are located.
This is a two bedroom two bathroom cottage with a full kitchen. There is a onsite grill for your convenience.
The cottage does have a private driveway for your use.
This cottage is cozy and peaceful. The perfect place to relax and enjoy all that Mackinaw has to offer.

Our guests have full access to the house.
Other things to note:

Good communication with owner, and the cottage was within walking distance of great restaurants and the Mackinac Island ferry. Much better value than staying on the Island.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful time in Mackinaw City and the Somewhere in Time cottage was a major reason. It had everything we needed - comfortable bedrooms with well appointed bathrooms, a good kitchen for preparing breakfast, perfect size dining and living rooms for us to gather in the evening, and an inviting screened-in porch to enjoy the cool breezes and people watch. The location was perfect for walking into town or to the ferries, but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. My wife, daughter, and I really enjoyed our stay.

Great place, great location

Had everything we always ask for in a VRBO, extra towels, laundry baskets, simple check out, clean, and good location. Only complaint is the listing stated amenities included laundry but closest laundry is 1.1 miles away. To be included as an amenity it has to be on premises or next door at the farthest.

It’s so cute. I wish I lived there! I gave a “good” because i wish there were ceiling fans on the porch. We opened the windows.We didn’t sit in the living room at all. The porch is beautiful.

The cottage is very well maintained and really cute. Great location to take the Ferry to the Island. Would definitely stay there again. Property managers respond right away if you have any questions or need anything.

Great 4th of July Getaway

We had a lovely stay at the Somewhere in Time Cottage. It is so close to everything in Mackinaw City. It was great to walk to the shops, to the water, to the ferry to go to the island and to some great restaurants. We enjoyed sitting out on the enclosed porch and in the adirondack chairs on the front lawn. Perfect seats for the fireworks. Would definitely stay there again when we come back to the area.

Cottage was in a perfect location and wecould walk to everthing. Terry and Jennifer were helpful hosts. The cottage met all our needs, although it was hard to figurr out the heat and tv.

Great place!

This cottage is so cute and quaint. My husband and I loved the swing in the sunroom. It was a perfect spot on a chilly evening to watch the fireworks! The house is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the ferry! We hardly needed our car. We loved our stay and Terry the owner was great to work with. We would defiantly stay again.

It is a great place and lovely porch. The only negative is that it doesn’t have a dishwasher. I’m not into washing dishes by hand, but that’s minor if you don’t mind.

This charming cottage was very clean, had the amenities as listed, well-equipped kitchen, including coffee and tea. Great location. We did not use our vehicles the whole time we were in Mackinaw. Easy walk to the ferry, downtown, and the bike/walking trail. Owner was quick to respond when we had a question. Highly recommend.

Adorable!

My best friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this darling property! The cottage is full of Somewhere in Time memorabilia, antiques, English teacups, etc. It was very clean, neat and well stocked with everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed chatting in the cozy sunroom, which is decorated in the colors of the Grand Hotel, and watching “Somewhere in Time,” for like the 20th time for me! The location is fabulous, and close to the ferry and lots of shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again!

We couldn't have been happier with the property. Our only issue was in the address of the house. Please ignore the city of Cheboygan as is shown. This house is located 14 miles up the road, in Mackinaw City. The owner is as pleasant as anyone with VRBO has ever been to us.

Highly recommend this beautiful cottage.

We were so pleased with this rental. The house and property were well kept and we felt right at home. We really enjoyed the chairs outside and sitting in the enclosed front porch in the mornings and evenings. The house had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Walking distance to most things in Mackinaw City. It was an easy drive over the bridge into the upper penninsula too. The hosts were great! We got home and realized we'd left something there. We called the hosts and within 30 minutes they had found it and had already shipped it back to us. I highly recommend this beautiful home!

Ruined Vacation

We checked in 3 hours late because the owner forgot to have the property cleaned. Then the next night we saw a mouse, contacted him, he came over with no solutions. When we asked to be moved somewhere else for the remainder of our stay (3 out of 4 nights) he went nuts and started cussing us out. Most unprofessional situation I have ever seen in my life. Don’t stay here ever unless mice don’t bother you.
