Home away from home

Our stay at the Cowan house was great, it was very spacious and comfortably accommodated our big family. We loved how centralized it was to everything and the quiet neighborhood was a plus. We look forward to staying here again next time we’re in Conroe!

Great place to stay

Lovely home with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. The snacks and coffee bar were a nice touch. Very clean and spacious and a perfect home away from home!

Wonderful stay

Our stay was wonderful from the communication with the owners to the snacks and drinks my kids loved to the comfort of the house. I would recommend a stay here any time you come to Conroe. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful and comfortable.

The house was wonderful - so beautifully decorated, attention to detail, fully stocked, completely comfortable. I've stayed in many VRBOs, and this was one of my favorites - it felt like home! Thank you for your hospitality with the water and treats!!

Clean, Fun and Easily Accessible

We loved our stay in this quiet beautiful home! Everything was perfect from the very clean bathrooms to the spacious and well stocked kitchen to the comfortable beds and bedrooms! It’s just off of I 45 with easy access to grocery stores and other shopping stores. We were able to hop on and off the freeway as we visited places all around the area.

Beautiful and convenient

This is the second time staying at this house. It is by far the best property we have had the pleasure of staying at for vacation. The hosts are very responsive. I can not say enough what a beautiful and convenient property this is. It is spacious and well taken care of from the outside to the inside! Every time we come to the Conroe area we will be staying here!

Great stay!

Very clean, easy access to stores and food. Easy check in and out. Only thing negative about this place is no washer or dryer. Other than that five stars! Will definitely try to rent if back in this area.

Ideal for a getaway

So many positives! We were in the area visiting relatives for a few days and this fit the bill. This home is immaculate and welcoming. The coffee and snack bar were beyond appreciated. We arrived later in the evening and knowing that our morning coffee was available without having to run out was really great. Plenty of space and comfort and the owners were very responsive in communications.

First time VRBO experience bar set high

Staying in the Cowan house made our stay in Conroe so convenient. It’s our first time renting a VRBO, and the bar has been set high now! The coffee bar and snacks were definitely a hot spot. Well thought out charging boxes and night lights made it homey. House was so clean and spacious!!! I didn’t want to come back to my own home!! Thank you so much for a comfortable, easy stay in Conroe!!

Texas Custom Knife Show

This is family trip for us, kids and grandkids. The house was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out after supper and relax. Kitchen dining area was huge for everyone to gather in after the show. The yard was nice - not fenced in but still very spacious! The neighborhood but not the home is next to a busy road. So there is traffic noise. The home is beautiful and well stocked. This is a family favorite place to stay!

Perfect getaway!!!

We were loking for a quick getaway from the same ol'- same ol' at home and we found the Cowen House. I have 2 teen girls and they were thrilled with the bedrooms. Comfortable beds and had everything we needed. The BBQ place next-door was an added bonus!!! We will be booking another stay SOON! My youngest forgot her Nintendo switched and they contacted us and offered to send it to us. Best communication ever!!! Thank you and we'll be back soon!!!

Nice Accommodations, Easy In & Out

Booked this stay for eight girlfriends attending a scrapbook event in Conroe. The house is spacious, very clean, well outfitted for our stay, well maintained and the bedrooms were spacious. The house had everything we needed. The office was nice to have as one of us needed to spend a few hours working. The parking was great at the back of the house and well lit at night for coming and going. Neighbors were friendly and we all felt secure. Several of us exercised by walking in the neighborhood early morning and it was enjoyable. Restaurant options are close and we found a great breakfast place that was yummy! Jessica and Sonia are fast with responses to inquiries and are great hosts!

Great Place to stay!

I can't say enough about this house! It's very, very spacious with an office and small conference room. Slept our 8 very comfortably. Very nice set up with plenty of linens and great bathrooms and showers! They had complimentary coffee, snacks and fruit that the kids loved. Very easy instructions for the stay/home were layed out on the counter and hung on the wall. Very clean home in a nice neighborhood with quick access to stores and I45!! Literally next to a great Bbq/ Burger joint!! HEB, Walmart, and Dollar stores are close if needed also. Great experiance with owners and the whole process. I will definitely rent this home again in the future!

Lovely, comfortable home

The Cowan Ave home was the perfect fit for us while we were in Conroe for our niece’s wedding. The beds were comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet. We were only there a couple days but will definitely come back if we need a place in Conroe. It was easy to access and find. Everything was clean. The home owners even treated us to complimentary water bottles and snacks! We were so spoiled! The only drawback was that the toilets and bathrooms had issues flushing and became easily backed up with everyday use. Otherwise- it was a lovely stay! I slept very well. Plenty of space for all eight of us.
