Do you want to be a stones throw from the stadium and action of Pittsburgh?! Well you're in the right place!! Our gorgeous Pittsburgh home has been renovated with so much love and care just for your enjoyment!

Important things to note:

☞ We provide as much as we can such as body wash, hand soaps, toilet rolls, trash bags etc. If you run out/or is unavailable on arrival it is up to you to replenish items! Sometimes we can be in the middle of replacing trash bags for example and they might not arrive in time for your stay!
☞ The air cannot be set below 68 or above 72 as this is a beautiful old building.
☞ In the summer the house does get hot, we do not currently provide fans (but we do have AC) so if you like fans, make sure you bring some!!
☞The house has a full alarm system that you can use yourself! Thats all detailed in your check in instructions.
☞All bedrooms are all located on the middle floor but nicely spread out.
☞We live around 30 minutes away. If we are not on vacation we can be on hand to help within that time frame if there are any issues. Our cleaning company is also available to help if needed.
☞Pets are welcome but the space isn't specifically designed with pets in mind! That means yes your fury friends may join but we don't provide an outdoor relief area, bowls etc.
☞We have ample street parking that is free for guests, you won't have problems finding a space.
☞We are 5 minutes drive from all the stadiums.

very clean house in a quiet neighborhood on a dead-end street. it felt safe, and the one neighbor we chatted with was friendly. there was adequate street parking. the owner was friendly and quick to respond to questions. the house was missing a few minor amenities that would have made it a little nicer (e.g. only one functioning pingpong ball, no oven mitts, bedroom curtains were too sheer) but overall a very good experience. if you like to watch sports, this would be an excellent choice as there are large tvs in most of the rooms. i would def come back here but i'd be sure to bring my own pingpong balls!

Older home, decorated tastefully, priced appropriately. Aesthetically pleasing. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, cookware, etc. However, the floors were uneven and in a few spots sank when you walked despite new floor covering. Lacked privacy since only a few windows had blinds, unsettling to be in the bedroom and master bath with the house next door being 10 feet away with their window and back porch right across in direct view. Also no blinds on front windows, again no privacy. Mattresses were just ok and basic. The front wooden porch had some weeds poking up. The back porch overlooked 5 feet tall, overgrown weeds that were a huge eyesore, back yard was unwalkable. The game room was about 90 degrees which is somewhat understandable given the outside temp and being 3rd floor but the AC was not pumping out cold air to the game room. The other houses on the street were questionably abandoned, unkempt. This location is in an older neighbor, not walkable to anywhere - no restaurants, no stores, nothing. We wouldn’t have felt safe to walk anywhere anyway. Had never been to Pittsburgh and didn’t realize it was so hilly so even if it felt safe to do so, walking to the city district/water front would not have been doable.

A well appointed and spacious stay central to Pittsburgh and many things to do. There were a few quirks to the house but those were offset wholly by the value.

Overall great with a just a few complaints

Overall my stay with my family of 6 was good. The only complaints are the following: the floor was a little lopsided so a warning on that would have been appreciated. Also, the main bedroom doesn’t have rack to hang up clothes so we couldn’t hang our nice outfits in that room. Additionally in the bedrooms, there was no top sheet. Only a fitted and a blanket. For the common spaces, as an older adult I had complications using the TV. some direction in that would’ve be nice. Lastly, the drain in the two upstairs bathrooms were backed up when we showered. But again, we did enjoy our stay.

The townhome is very nice and clean well kept. The design and layout is perfect the appliances are all new, beds are comfy. I really liked the decor its just right not too much but just enough. Once you get inside and you look around its like ahhh yes, I can relax here everything is so comfortable. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Very nice place. We will definitely stay again when we return to Pittsburgh!

Nice place TERRIBLE NEIGHBORHOOD

The inside of the house was fine but the house is on a dead end street next to two abandoned houses with no front doors. We were too afraid to stay in the neighborhood and ended up moving to a hotel due to our safety concerns.

We stayed during 95+ temps and the house isn’t suited for that. Ground level freezing, first floor 20d higher and top floor not usable as 100d F +. We asked for fans for bedrooms and were dismissed being told they don’t have any. Kitchen missing basics-cooking trays, serving bowls. BBQ utensils, dish towels, etc. No house manual for garbage etc and front door handle fell off when leaving. Very uneven floor boards. Owner not interested in addressing criticisms,see past reviews.

Great stay!

This was a great house! It was stocked with essentials and very clean. The upstairs did not cool very well so it got a bit warmer than downstairs but we opened the windows at night and it was comfortable. The location was ideal for our needs and was a 10-15 minute drive away from many fun things to do. We would definitely stay here again!

Renovated but with a few quirks

Overall the property was okay. While the area is still in transition and some houses on the street were in disrepair, we felt safe and were happy with the proximity to the things we wanted to do. However there were a few quirks/things that would would have made it a better experience. First, the renovations were done nicely except for the floor of the 2nd story. There were spots where the floor gave way under the carpet and in one bedroom, a board was loose/moved in front of the fireplace. We placed a suitcase there so we wouldn't step there. The curtains were just sheers and in the front bedroom allowed the street light to shine in brightly during the night. It was a warm weekend and the air conditioning didn't quite make it up to the 3rd floor so we couldn't spend any time up there. Also the beds only had a duvet cover and no top sheet. Our family is used to some sort of sheet during the night but it was too hot to use the duvet. I did reach out to the owner to ask about this and was informed that was her tradition. Lastly, there were no kitchen linens (dish towel/pot holder) so we had to use a bathroom hand towel.

House is wonderfully restored. Great view of the city. Everything very clean and just as listed. Would definitely book here again if we come back to Pittsburgh!

Lovely Home

We had a very nice trip to Pittsburgh and enjoyed staying in this lovely home. The house was clean, comfortable, and really adorable. My kids (ages 21 and 19) really enjoyed the house and its amenities. I would definitely stay here again. Excellent communication with host.

Inside a Very Nice Place

The home is an older home that has been nicely remodeled. The pictures are true depictions of the rooms and it was a welcome treat to find a three bedroom 2.5 bath vacation home at a reasonable price. We stayed for just 2 nights and the location was excellent. It is close to downtown and the stadium. I do caution on the flooring, which is uneven and sunken in some spots which I attribute to the age of the home. It is a three story home with 1 HVAC unit which took several hours to heat. We came in from the South and that plays a part of why we wanted a warmer home. The curtains are sheer throughout the house , so at night we felt a little uncomfortable on the ground level without blinds (blinds only in the kitchen) but the home is on a dead end street (i think) so there was not a lot of traffic. The home is in a transitional area but we always felt safe. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend Legends Restaurant on E North Ave. Excellent Italian food.

Exactly as shown

It was the perfect location for our family for a long weekend stay in Pittsburgh. It looks just like it is shown in the pictures and we would definitely stay there again. The only thing I suggest is maybe a darker curtain for the front bedroom as the street light outside lights that bedroom at night and made it a little difficult to fall asleep.

Disappointed

We were shocked at the condition of the surrounding neighborhood and area. Yes, it was a short distance from downtown, but you would pass empty, gang tagged buildings. This was not what we expected. We were pleasantly surprised by the appearance of the inside of the home which appeared to be recently updated. Very nice appearance--but it was superficial. The floors were uneven covered by new floor coverings. There were clearly holes in the floor in the hallway on the second floor which owner attempted to cover with throw rugs. We were shocked by the accumulation of trash including bags that were open (one trash can had been turned over with trash everywhere) between the residence and the house next door. The trash containers were full and the flies were bad. The first morning I attempted to make coffee and discovered that while the coffee pot itself had been cleaned the grounds from the previous pot had not been emptied. The beds had a fitted bottom sheet and a duvet--no top sheet. Finding extra towels and wash clothes was difficult. There was one kitchen towel and nothing else in the kitchen--no dishclothes, no pot holders, etc. Finally, we sent a note requesting where we could find additional trash bags and were told we would need to purchase those. This is our 5th+ VRBO home we have had the privilege of staying in with excellent experiences in the past. This stay was not up to the normal standards and should not be billed as a Premier Host.

With in walking distance to Downtown Pittsburgh

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! Mrs. Kara was great with ALL replies & help as needed During our week long stay. We had a blast walking downtown Pittsburgh getting to See all the wonderful sights and eating Amazing foodđŸ›ïžâ€ŒïžđŸ”đŸ» The home is beautiful & spacious on the inside thus allowing our family of 6 adults to hangout and enjoy ping pong, tv, and card games together when not visiting family in the area or visiting Pittsburgh. Thank you again Mrs. Kara for all the Wonderful help and we look forward to staying there in the future.

Spacious, beautiful home in great location for visiting Pittsburgh!

We had a great experience staying in this super-clean home - not far from so many great things to do and see in Pittsburgh! Kara was quick and helpful in all our communications. the bonus room with ping pong table was also fun!

Great spot to stay!

Very cute, homey house :) Kara was a great host and answered all questions very quickly. it accommodated me and my 6 friends perfectly for a night out in North shore- as it is so close. I especially love the upstairs hangout spot with neon sign/ just how everything was decorated.
