Welcome to The Carrington, part of the County Curated collection. Visit County Curated to view all of the beautiful properties that we manage in Prince Edward County. This home can accommodate 10 adults (age 11+) and 5 children (age 10 and under including infants) as per the property's short term accommodation license. The Carrington is a beautifully renovated, turn of the century home, a perfect place to make some memories with your family and friends. Over 3500 square feet to host your next getaway with two spacious living rooms and a table that seats up to 12 guests. The ideal home for your county dinner party. Each of the 5 bedrooms has a cozy queen size bed. Guests will enjoy easy access to everything Prince Edward County has to offer from this centrally located home. From walking around historic Main St. in downtown Picton, to the best restaurants, wineries, attractions and Sandbanks Beach. If you prefer staying close to home this great backyard features both a heated pool and hot tub. Please note that the home has a 6th queen bed in the loft bedroom. The cleaning fee includes linens for 5 beds. Guests are welcome to bring their own sheets for the 6th bed or request linens for an additional $30.STA License # ST-2020-0205

A damage deposit hold of $1,000 will be placed on your credit card within 72 hours before check-in.
This hold will be released within 7 business days after a post check-out inspection confirms no damage to the property.

Reservations can be canceled for a full refund up to 30 days before check-in.

Reservations canceled between 30 and 14 days before check-in will forfeit the 50% deposit.

Reservations canceled within 14 days of check-in are non-refundable.

All cancellations made more than 14 days after booking are subject to an administration fee of 4% of the total deposit.

My friends and I very much enjoyed our stay! The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the space had so much charm. Small detail, but I really appreciated the number of hooks in the washrooms and bedrooms. We had access to AC and fans as needed. The house is old, so please expect creaky floors and quirks. We found it to be all part of the charm. The pool and hot tub were clean and warm. The backyard itself could use some maintenance and tidying. But otherwise, it was a wonderful stay.

It’s ok not more

We went between June 25 and June 30 2025. We were 10 people. The space was enough for all of us but not more. I loved the big table and the fact that there was two living rooms. The house had everything we needed. However, It’s a very old House that needs some updates. We had some screws from the kitchen that fell on our heads. The worse was the backyard. Too much végétation. The patio and the pool were dirty because of that. Also, the pool was cold. We couldn’t enjoy it because of thèse two inconvénients. The town was not exciting. Every store closed early. Don’t go to the lilac field. Sandbanks was almost closed because of the dead fishes. Dunes Beach was nice. Don’t Forget to take a réservation for the beach because it sells out early in the morning. No alchool was admitted on the beach. In conclusion, it’s ok but we will not return.

The Carrington

À notre arrivée la piscine manquait extrêmement d’eau, tellement qu’elle n’était pas fonctionnelle. Les ordures trainaient dans la cour et débordaient. L’entretien extérieur est négligé sauf le gazon. Les assiettes rangées dans les armoires étaient extrêmement sales. L’état du lave vaisselle laisse à désirer ainsi que des laveuse sécheuse . La toilette à l’étage a bouché à deux reprises. Malgré tout, nous avons passé un beau séjour en famille grâce aux lits confortables. Les hôtes nous ont répondu assez rapidement même si on aurait préféré que quelqu’un passe pour régler le problème de la piscine.
