The space Picturesque church overlooking the beautiful Bay of Quinte located just outside of Picton within a short drive to breweries and wineries. A fully appointed house with amazing views, charming accents and a large yard with deck and fire pit. The church is renovated into a home but maintains its country charm with squeaky floors and squeaky doors. We have two bedrooms with Queen sized beds. There is a pullout couch available if you have more than 4 guests. There is no direct water access through our property. We are happy to provide a 15% discount on stays over 5 days and 20% discount on stays 7 days or longer. Message us with your requested dates.
Guest access Guests will have full access the church with a lockbox. Unique key provided at checkin to guests. There is no access to the water through our property and by booking you will respect the no trespassing signs and stay within the fenced yard.
Other things to note Access to the garage and waterfront is not included. This is a country home with all its charms including local wildlife.
Excellent home base for a getaway in PEC. The converted church is very clean and has a well stocked kitchen and comfy beds. It has such a great vibe with fun and eclectic decor. We really enjoyed our stay!
The home is lovely. Itâs exactly as shown in the pictures. Well appointed and has all the amenities needed. Location was close to downtown picton and a short drive to some wineries, cideries and breweries.
Spacious, clean, and well-appointed converted church about 10 minutes from Picton. Nice living area, really cozy back room with a water view, and roomy bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Easy checkin and detailed instructions/notes re: the house and area. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
The property is beautiful on the water with lots of great amenities and close to lots of attractions in the area. Unfortunately we found ticks and lots of bugs inside the property which put a damper on our trip and were told this was quite common for the area so be aware if travelling with kids and/or dogs. It was a bit disappointing considering the high cleaning fee.
We spent the weekend with friends and the location was perfect! We enjoyed the house and property overlooking the lake. Everything you could need was available in the house and the property owners were very quick to reply to questions we had before available! Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Pure bliss, morning coffee at sunrise on the water, adventures in the day and dinner and board games at night. All the amenities you need or want. Spacious, comfortable, lots of natural light. I give this Vrbo 150%!!
My husband, son and I stayed here while visiting our daughter at University. The church conversion was done so beautifully, it feels like a boutique hotel. The kitchen is very well stocked. On night one we enjoyed the record player and some wine. In the morning we had a cup of coffee in the backyard while watching the ice and snow melt away over the lake. Although near the road we were not bothered as the bedrooms are on the other side. The sleeping areas are well separated from each other & the main area, which I would have appreciated back when the kids were young. We had a great lunch at Parsons just done the road, then went to Picton to pick up food at Agrarian and Ralph's to make at the house. We hope to return next winter!
We came to PEC for an annual two night girlsâ getaway and were so pleasantly impressed by this adorable little church house. It is decorated beautifully in a fun eclectic style mixing old and new. Thereâs lots of space, each bedroom is comfortable, the kitchen is filled with everything you might need, the two living areas are lovely. If youâre a light sleeper, you could be bothered by the road noise as the church is on a busy loud main road. It didnât keep us awake (earplugs!) and it didnât detract from the charm of the place. We highly recommended a stay here.
