Quincy Street, quiet & downtown historic district charm
Just a few blocks from the downtown hub of restaurants, a morning stroll for coffee, breweries, art, shopping and events sits this newly remodeled space in a quiet and established historic neighborhood. Minutes from these conveniences and a quick access point off of the interstate as well as straight into the hills on Mount Rushmore Road. We welcome you to this bright and cozy home. We pride ourselves with cleanliness, comfortable beds, a functional quality kitchen and service to answer any ?'s
We stayed at Manyaâs for 3 days and it was perfect. It was in a quiet neighborhood but very close to the downtown. She was very helpful and accommodating and the beds were very comfortable. Thank you Manya.
Super cute historic house. The steps leading upstairs are very steep and narrow (because theyâre original to the house), so if you have small children or limited mobility it would not be a good option, as the bedrooms are all upstairs. The location was excellent, kitchen great (table seats 4), and overall it was a very nice stay.
A great place to stay for a few days while visiting the Badlands, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park. Nice restaurants. Furniture could use some updating.
Quiet, Clean Unit in Good Central Location with Some Limitations
We enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean, the kitchen was well-supplied for cooking, the beds were very comfortable. Location was good, with proximity to downtown and easy access out of town tourist locations. It should be noted that, for someone with any mobility issues, there is no easy direct sidewalk access from the available street parking. There are about 15 stairs to the bedrooms on the top floor and they are very narrow. One bedroom has its own bathroom. The second bedroom does not and requires going downstairs for the second bathroom. Neither bedroom has a closet for hanging clothes. We did find a portable rack in the closet and had to put it out in the hall so both bedrooms had access. One bedroom had no curtain on one upper window, allowing light in during early morning sleep time. We had to cover it with pillows to avoid waking up early. If you can live with the few limitations, this is a pleasant place to stay.
As a digital nomad, I do long term stays at various rentals. This charming, old home, was a gem. I donât give 5 stars easily; Iâm very particular about clean, amenities, furnishings, etc. This place had everything in it. The location was near everything (I walked everywhere in town). The hostess was kind, thoughtful, communicative and organized. If there were anything I could âwarnâ potential guests of, I would. I got nothing. If you want to stay long term in Rapid City (and you should), stay here.
Excellent communication with host. Well-equipped - in particular the kitchen. Very clean. Comfortable beds and Living Room seating. Convenient location to downtown Rapid City and to roads leading to Black Hills and Badlands. Quiet neighborhood. Strongly recommend that a handrail be added to the lower staircase. Thanks for providing an excellent locale for our visit to Rapid City and surrounding areas.
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home! The kitchen was amazing, she had everything we needed plus more! All the furnishing were comfortable & suited the house. It was very nice to have 2 1/2 baths for the 3 adults. Our 6 month old granddaughter was quite content there. Having the privacy you don't get in a hotel was great. This was our first VRBO stay, but it won't be our last!!
Booked online and was pleasantly surprised with accommodation, design and decor. Well maintained, great bathrooms and kitchen. Comfortable living room and great beds. It made for a pleasant weekend to the Black Hills! Highly recommend.
As someone who loves to travel and explore this place we call home (Earth!) I am excited to be your host in the place that I call home, the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. There is an endless amount of experiences to be had here and I hope that you will reach out to me with any questions you may have. When I adventure out it's with just a backpack. I try to keep it light, while traveling, and in living. I find it's all about the experiences we can carry forward, the connections that we make, and the growth that we gain when we step out of our comforts and out into the wide world. I hope your stay to be all that you wish for!
