Downtown Villa just 2 blocks from La Fortuna’s central park, featuring a private pool and unbeatable location to explore the Arenal area. The main house offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, plus an additional poolside bedroom with private bath. All rooms have A/C. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ area, fast WiFi (100/100), laundry room, and private parking.

We had no issues with the house or anything else. It was clean, the pool was great for the kids! The property staff were most helpful and nice! It was a an amazing location to town as well!

Excellent location. Very secure. Loved being able to walk downtown to restaurants. Very central location easy to get to all areas around La Fortuna. Pool was refreshing. Shower was a little small for our liking but we made it work.

House worked perfectly for our family of 7. Rooms are all big enough for two people and having three bathrooms was great. Kitchen was well stocked for us cook breakfast every day, with excellent restaurants and sodas less than 5 min away for lunch and dinner. Only negative, it’s clearly stated that there is only ac in the bedroom, which does make the living room uncomfortable during the day (and the laundry room off the kitchen is exposed to the outside, if they could put a door there the bedrooms ac might be enough to cool the house down). There is a fan that helps but I wouldn’t plan on spending time in there during the day. We spent our days on excursions or by the pool so it worked for us.

After taking my time deciding where to stay, I am so glad we chose Villa Diría. While it has its little quirks, it turned out to be the perfect place for our family of five (including 17, 13, and 11-year-old kids). A huge bonus for us was that each kid had their own room, and our 17-year-old especially loved having the "separate house" section for some independence!The area felt extremely safe, and the locals were incredibly welcoming. The location could not be better. Everything you need is within easy walking distance. A couple of local spots nearby are absolute must-visits:- Soda Stereo: Just a 1.5-minute walk from the property. If you love music, you’ll adore the ambiance. The owner Jonathan, was fantastic and the food was perfect. We went on our final night in La Fortuna and were genuinely upset we hadn't discovered it sooner for more meals!- Café 23: Only a 2-minute walk away. They’ve been open for less than a year, serve amazing coffee, and are a total must visit during your stay.The hosts were very responsive throughout our stay. I dealt mostly with Carlos, who was fantastic. When we ran into a quick issue with the door, someone came out immediately to inspect it, and it was completely fixed by the next morning.We also walked to their physical storefront, House of Tours, to book our excursions. While you can easily book online, meeting face-to-face to chat through our options was a great personal touch.Highly recommended for families visiting La Fortuna!

The host was very proactive during our stay. They helped us out with many things including activities in the area. We walked to everything in town while we were there. It's a quiet place and well equipped for our needs.The resident sloth in the tree next door was a nice addition to our stay!

This property was perfect for our family. It was within walking distance to anything you needed in La Fortuna. The extra bedroom was perfect for our older daughter. The pool was beautiful and perfect for our younger daughter. Added bonus was the sloth in the tree above the property. It was the cherry on top! They also had great communication the entire time we stayed there and answered all questions I had in a timely manner!

We were two families staying for 3 nights. Host was very responsive, always available to respond to questions. The location was absolutely perfect. It was within walking distance to the town square/park, lots of restaurants and shops. The house was adequately stocked to be able to be able to cook meals. The house was clean and well maintained and the pool was wonderful for the kids to swim in.

Great Place to Stay in La Fortuna

This was a great place to stay for our time in La Fortuna. The house is just a block away from the center of town and easy walking distance to many restaurants and tour operators. The pool was a very refreshing option in the heat and the space was great for our family's home base as we explored La Fortuna.

Excellent family house in great location

We stayed with our two sons and their wives and had the best time. The house is great. Nice to have a the pool house bedroom. The pool was wonderful and the location in town was peaceful yet right near the main square. Lots of restaurants and shops. Just down the road from so many great volcano and forest activities. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Our names are Eder Cruz & Allen Murillo, two good friends that have more than 15 years of experience working in tourism in La Fortuna, we grew up La Fortuna and decided to work together creating Home Vacations La Fortuna on May 2015, our main goal: Make things easier and simple for our guest.
On 2018 we create The House of Tours to provide our guests the best experiences during their stay in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area, we have the best tours and transportation services/rates in the area.

We manage/own about 40 properties in La Fortuna, we have a wide variety of options: private bedrooms, apartments, cabins, homes and villas up to 16 people some of them with private pool, hot tubs, nice opens areas, creeks nearby and more facilities. Over this years we have met lot of people which is one of the best things about working in tourism, every day we work very hard to make our guest happy so our business has been very successful thanks to the good reviews that we get from them.

Adding The House of Tours we hire Alonso Esquivel which is a expert tour guide and he works with us in the office so we can offer anything you need in La Fortuna, we have an office in downtown La Fortuna where we meet our guest so you don’t have to go around looking your property just get to our office and we will guide you to your place.
