Very unique home with unbeatable views. Fast communication with smooth check in and out. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Loved the location.

Great place

If you have a large group this home is the perfect place to stay. It was 11 of us from little kids to adults and we all had a great time. The kids watched movies in the theater and the adults played pool and enjoyed the beautiful view this home has to offer. Brad is very nice and was very communicative if we couldn’t figure something out. Worth a stay if you are looking for views and an over all good location.

Amazing Property

The property was just as described and it really lived up the expectations the photos set. Location was great, up in the hills about a 10 min drive from the Sunset Strip. The house itself was large with plenty of room for our big group. The views were stunning and a real highlight. Finally, Brad was excellent, really responsive and happy to help with any questions we had. We would highly recommend.

Great place to gather

12 of us stayed for a college graduation. This house was perfect. Large enough for everyone to have their own space. Great kitchen which was fully stocked with everything needed to make meals. Wonderful outside space to enjoy the amazing views. Brad was super easy to work with and was a text away to answer any questions. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful view, a few logistical issues

Overall it was a beautiful house with an amazing view. There was a malfunction with the hot tub when no one was in it that created a flooding situation into the house, but luckily none of our personal property or belongings were affected. I would suggest to the property owners that the update and stock the property with a few more utensils, towels, and other items, but overall the house was lovely and the view magnificent.

Excellent location.

The location couldn’t have been better. Breathtaking views of LA. It’s up in the Hollywood Hills and so it made all the criteria for a location. The house does need some work. The dishwasher was in adequate. The TV system was not working particularly well and the Internet was intermittent. The furnishings were Spartan in the refrigerator freezer was acting up. All that said, the location was fantastic.

Thanks Brian for the feedback TVs work fine but they do interface with Sonos so some people are not used to it Furniture is fine. Extremely comfortable, have never heard this as an issue House is hight up sunset plaza .. we have 2 networks and work well, Occasionally maybe a hiccup. Again rarely brought up Refrigerator and freezer has been an issue.. seems something that has been a sticking out of people keep opening. I will call for a service appointment for that

A review for a different property...

A day before we were to check in I got a call that the place we had reserved was no longer available due to water damage and they were putting us in a different property on haslam terrace.That property was very very nice on the surface. Looked like it should be in an episode of MTV Cribs or something. But underneath the surface there were just so many issues:1. One shower only put out scalding hot water, no cold.2. Another shower was clogged and caused water to leak into the kitchen below3. Yet another shower had issues where the rainfall head could only put out cold water while the wand could do both hot and cold.4. One TV was smashed5. There was some machinery on the roof cycling on and off all night loudly every night. Very disruptive to sleep.I raised these concerns to the manager over text and didn't get a response till after we had checked out.But - the place has a nice view, was clean and secluded, and looked pretty awesome as long as you ignored the various issues. So I'm giving an overall 4* rating.

My host was doing under the table transactions. My experience was horrible. Do not rent this home. After paying the first two payments, I received a call from the host. He stated the home was double booked and he hates that the house is listed on multiple sites. He offered to move me to other homes. We declined. He stated to give him time to research and find another house. A week later, I received a text that it was ours. Relief. We paid the final payment and awaited our departure. A month later, I received a call from the host, again. This time it was a day before departure around 4 pm. He stated a pipe burst and he could not let us stay there. I suggested to allow us to stay while he got the part fixed. I received a firm NO! He stated it would take too long to fix before allowing guests. We were then forced to accept a house we did not want due to time restraints. We literally flew into the city with no where to stay. Last minute, we were transferred to another host. Our funds also transferred. When I contacted VRBO, I was told I waited too late to call. This is unacceptable. I have used VRBO for the past 5 years over its competitors. I even purchased trip insurance! Still nothing. Do not trust Brad and be careful when using VRBO. I am unhappy and dissatisfied. I am pretty reasonable and feel something should be done about this horrible experience. I expect a call from someone! Very soon!

Almost perfection

Overall our stay was great and I will give an honest review of the pros and cons. Pros- The house is amazing and the views are incredible. The space for everyone in a large group is very good, especially if you get the master bedroom like we did. The theater was fun to watch movies. Parking was ample, especially compared to other houses on the street. Brad was easily reachable for questions, that’s important because you will have questions abut how things work in this enormous house. Cons- most of my cons were unfortunate because I feel like most of them could be remedied pretty easily. For example, there is no thermostat downstairs so when I called Brad he had to adjust it from his phone, which I told him to put it at a fixed temp and that worked but I had no idea. The WiFi in the house instructions is an old one that doesn’t really work so be sure to ask him for the new one that works well. We had ants all weekend inside the house so beware of that. There is a really nice beverage fridge but most of the shelve clips were broken so I consolidated all of the good ones to make it better than when we arrived. The kitchen sink faucet is completely loose, multiple lights were burned out in multiple rooms, can opener broken, the upper wall oven falls out when you open the door. These were things that we all dealt with for our stay and didn’t really affect the trip, however we paid top dollar and a little TLC would go a long way and would make the house a 5 Star for sure.
