Thank you so much for sharing your review. We’re glad to hear the property was a great spot for a summertime stay. It’s also wonderful to know everything was clean and that arrival and departure were easy and convenient. We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us and would be happy to welcome you back anytime.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear the condo worked perfectly for your stay. We appreciate you mentioning the minor maintenance issues as well. Those details are helpful, and we’ll share them with the appropriate team so they can be reviewed and addressed. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us. We truly appreciate your feedback and would be happy to welcome you back anytime.

Thank you for the great review. We’re glad the condo was the perfect size for two couples and that you were able to make the most of the ski-in/ski-out access behind the building. Being able to hop on and off the hill really does make a ski trip feel effortless. We’re also happy everything was clean and tidy when you arrived. We’d love to host you again for your next ski getaway.

Thank you for the wonderful review. We’re glad your group loved the ski-in/ski-out access, especially with little ones—being able to come and go without loading up the car makes a big difference. We’re also happy to hear the condo was clean and ready right at 4:00. We appreciate you noting the size, too. We work hard to make the space feel efficient and comfortable for families, and it’s great to hear it worked well for 4 adults and 2 kids. We’d love to host you again on your next trip back.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m glad to hear you found the place updated and appreciated the ability to control the heat in the different rooms – that can make a big difference in comfort, especially with a group that likes different temperatures. We really appreciate you staying with us and hope we’ll have the chance to welcome you back for another comfortable visit.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the property to be great, but we’re sorry there were a few issues that affected your stay. We apologize that the listing mentioned a grill and one was not available when you arrived. If a grill is included in the property description, guests should be able to count on that amenity being there, especially when they have planned meals around using it. We’ll review the listing and property setup to make sure the information is accurate for future guests. We’re also sorry the upstairs unit and shared sound transfer were not clear before booking. We understand how frustrating it would be to hear kids running, voices, and activity from above, especially late at night and early in the morning when you were trying to sleep. Your comments about the stairs and the connection between the spaces are helpful, and we’ll review how the layout is described so future guests have better expectations before arrival. Thank you again for recognizing the property itself while also bringing these concerns to our attention. Your feedback helps us improve listing accuracy, guest communication, and the overall experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the property nice, enjoyed the great location, and could see how convenient the unit would be for skiing in the winter. We’re sorry the communication process felt confusing after booking through VRBO. We understand that guests are often most comfortable using the platform they booked through, and we appreciate your feedback as we continue working to make guest communication as clear and easy as possible. We also apologize that the temperature in the unit was uncomfortable during your summer stay. Since the space is located below another condo, we understand how cooler air settling downstairs could make it feel much colder, especially after a very hot week. We would have been happy to help troubleshoot during your stay had we known the temperature was causing an issue. Regarding the grill, we’re sorry for any confusion. Grills are not permitted at Boyne condo units, so we’ll review the listing language to make sure expectations are clear for future guests. We also appreciate your note about resort information. Boyne offers restaurants, bars, and many family activities, and we understand how helpful it would be to have that information more visible in the unit. We’ll review how those details are provided so guests can better enjoy everything the resort has to offer. Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing both the positives and the areas where communication and clarity can improve.

Thank you for your review! We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed the great location at Boyne Mountain and found the property clean and comfortable. We appreciate your feedback regarding the check-out time and the additional charge for extra hours. We understand how valuable a little extra time can be, and we’ll take your comments into consideration as we look for ways to improve the guest experience. We’d love to host you again in the future! ⛷️🏡✨

Thank you for sharing this feedback. We’re truly sorry you experienced unsafe conditions and a noisy stay. That’s not the experience we want for anyone. On the snow and ice: the exterior walkways and entrances are typically handled by the resort/association, but that doesn’t change the fact that the area near your door should have been cleared and safe. We have reported this to the appropriate on-site team and will continue to escalate it because guest safety has to come first. On the noise: we understand how frustrating it is to be in a lower unit when the guests above are loud. If you’re a light sleeper, an upper-floor unit is often a better fit. We also want to clarify the communication piece so future guests know the fastest way to get help. This reservation was managed through our team, and we did not receive a call or message about the noise or the icy entry during your stay. It sounds like you contacted Boyne Mountain directly, so we weren’t aware of what was happening and didn’t have the opportunity to step in and assist in real time. In the future, please contact the property management number provided in your check-in information so we can respond immediately and coordinate with resort security or maintenance if needed. We appreciate you raising these issues, and we’re using your feedback to push for better ice mitigation and clearer guidance on who to contact for urgent concerns.

Hi Eli, Thank you for the review. We are glad you overall enjoyed your stay with us and that the kids loved the foosball and pool table. We greatly appreciate the feedback and will certainly forward it on to our Property Manager to be addressed. We hope to see you again in the future for your next trip. Sincerely, The Staff at Northern Michigan Escapes

Hi Lacie, Thank you for the review. We do apologize for any inconvenience you may have endured during your stay. Unfortunately, we can not control other renters above or below the condo units. These condos are all individually owned and rented out. We do appreciate the feedback though and hope we can assist you next time in finding a better suited condo or home. Sincerely, The Staff at Northern Michigan Escapes

Hi Eric, Every rental management company has fees. When you booked with us you agreed to those fees. If at anytime you were not pleased during your stay, you should have reached out to the Property Manager. We are unsure if you were "ghosted" since we are not in the business of "ghosting" our guests. If you had contacted our Property Manager over these issues they would have certainly tried to address any questions or concerns you may have had during your stay at anytime. Do note that you were staying in a condo on the lower level in the middle of the woods. Spiders and such are bound to happen. Again, if you had contacted the Property Manager, they would have certainly tried to address the issue for you. Obviously you were not satisfied with your stay and we do apologize for that. Perhaps we are just not a good fit for you and you should book through a different company next time. Sincerely, The Staff at Northern Michigan Escapes
