Welcome to the beautiful Azure Chalet, a spacious mountain lodge just 5 minutes from skiing with plenty of space for guests, entertaining and privacy. A stunning great room is set up for entertaining with a spacious open floor plan, open to the kitchen and dining areas with loads of natural light. A large stone fireplace is a focal point, great for staying toasty warm in winter on comfortable couches while enjoying movie night on a wall mounted TV. High ceilings and large windows allow nature inside, with exposed beams and architectural features adding ambiance to the room. A fun high top bar table with 4 chairs is the perfect happy hour spot. A gourmet kitchen with custom cabinetry, beautiful stone countertops, Viking appliances, plenty of counter space and a large center island with bar seating for three. A large pantry and nearby wine fridge allow space for essentials. There is also a powder room on this level. A unique dining area includes a round table seating eight on four comfortable loveseats, with plenty of natural light coming from the windows. Multiple doors access a wonderful deck complete with BBQ grill, heaters, and plenty of seating at three separate tables. Al fesco dining in summer will be a must, with beautiful views of the mountains and valley. Also on this floor is a private office space with computer, printer and high-speed internet, a great space for remote workers. This multi-level home has the convenience of a centrally located elevator, for ease with trips upstairs. A beautiful wood staircase with wrought iron railings and wood floors add to the beauty and character of the home. Up one flight is a beautiful master king suite with TV, private balcony access, large closet and ensuite bath with a soaking tub, and walk in shower. A cute sitting area has a sofa and balcony overlooking the great room. A dedicated laundry room with washer dryer is located down the hall. The fun continues in the lower-level rec room and family room with billiards, a large screen TV, fireplace, couches, powder room and walk-out access to the patio and hot tub. A large yard adds additional space for the kids to play. Also on the lower level are two more guest rooms, a double twin room with TV and bathroom and a king room with window looking out at the hot tub (and sometimes moose too!) and ensuite bath. Other amenities include a 2-car garage and additional driveway parking. Four wheel drive is required in the winter months.
SHUTTLE This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups.
GUEST SERVICES Moving Mountains has a Guest Services Team, offering full-service vacation planning assistance prior to your trip. You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. You will also have access to our online Guest Portal where you can find extensive details about your reservation, your residence and guest services.
IN HOME AMENITIES All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, Nespresso, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.
**This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.
