Situé dans le Phoenix à Steamboat, vous bénéficierez d'un emplacement très attractif, si proche de la télécabine, que des permis de stationnement doivent être délivrés pendant la saison de ski pour empêcher les habitants d'y stationner. Le développement a de grands équipements et services pour que vous appréciiez aussi bien. Cela comprend un club-house bien aménagé sur 3 niveaux avec une salle de jeux, un centre d’affaires, plusieurs salons, un centre de remise en forme, un sauna et une réception. En saison de ski, une navette privée gratuite vous permet de vous rendre n'importe où en ville. Vous ne l'utiliserez pas pour accéder aux pistes, cependant! Great location, perfect for families.
Great location, just a short walk from the gondola. Or you also had the option of the shuttle which would stop right at your front door, which was great. Condo worked just fine for 2 families of 5 - the bunk room was perfect for the kids.

Great location, very outdated
The condo has great space for a large group and the location is fantastic. However, the condo is very outdated, the beds and furniture are beat up and uncomfortable, one the the bedroom windows was missing a window covering, half the box fans were broken, and the front desk on location will not provide clean bath towels. For what we spent on the rental, these issues were such a bummer!!

Spacious Condo with Easy walk to slopes and Convenient Location
Our large family enjoyed having 4 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. It's amazing how they fit so many rooms into the square footage of this unit. The bathrooms are small but served their purpose just fine. The family room's sectional sofa was very comfortable and provided another bed. The dining table with seating for 6 was perfect for family game nights. There is a bench alongside the wall just inside the door that is great for organizing hats, gloves, helmets and boots. While the kitchen appliances are new and in very nice condition, the only downside is that the kitchen itself is not equipped for cooking large meals. It could use more bowls, cooking/serving utensils, newer pots and pans, and a griddle would be super nice. There is not a lot of counter space, but totally fine for storing snacks and breakfast foods. Steamboat Resort and Downtown have wonderful dining options so we didn't bother with cooking in as much as we usually do on vacations. There are two floors of stairs to get to this unit, but that didn't bother our family. We rented two cars and had no trouble getting into the garage space with one and finding a covered spot for the 2nd. We didn't use the clubhouse or hot tubs because it was a bit of a walk in the cold and after a long day on the slopes, we just didn't have the extra energy, lol. The walk to the gondola, slopes, ski storage, dining, Wild Plum Market, and coffee shop at Gravity Haus was easy and very convenient. Great Location!

Much Needed For Improvements
There were 12 of us, seniors 55+ and mostly women (10 of 12), and we did not feel crowded. We made good use of the washer/dryer. The exterior is spacious and pleasantly landscaped. We had no problem getting a covered parking spot. However, there were several things which should be improved:
Check-in:
- Magnetic keys did not work. We had to wait for the security guard to deliver them to us.
- The dishes in the dishwasher were not clean.
- The fridge's light burned out. We had to put in a new bulb.
- The unit is on the 3rd floor, 3 stair levels, which is not clearly indicated in the property description. For us seniors, carrying our luggage up 3 stair levels was quite challenging.
General:
- AC is not central. Only 3 window units for 2 bedrooms upstairs and the dining area. These are quite noisy that we couldn't sleep with them on.
- ceiling fans are covered in dirt/dust.
- The TV in the living room and some of the bedrooms did not work.
- Bedroom closets are cluttered with beddings and furniture. No room for us to store our luggage.
- Master bathroom shower head is not correct, e.g. hot and cold water were not mixed properly, we got hot and cold jets instead of warm water.
- Shampoo and conditioner provided were not enough to last 6 days.
- Although we managed to cook with provided pots and pans, we think additional, 1-2, larger pots would save us lots of cooking time.

All of our guests have access to our Guest Services number, which is monitored 24/7, should they need anything before, during, or after their stay.
We are very disappointed to have not heard from the guest at all during their stay regarding these issues, especially taking into consideration that we spoke with the guest at least once every week leading up to their reservation since it was booked in April (the guest stayed in August). With the level of communication prior to their stay, we certainly would have expected a call regarding any issues they may have had.
Most of the items mentioned in this review could have easily been addressed to make the guest's stay more comfortable. The housekeeping company has also changed since this guest stayed, and we have seen vast improvements with the overall cleanliness and organization.
The arrival instructions have specific information regarding key issues, and the guests could have easily and quickly recharged the keys at the hotspot rather than waiting for security to let them in.
The description of the property notes that it has 3 levels, but we are always happy to provide additional information regarding the property's layout if guests have specific questions or needs. Again, with the level of communication we had with this guest leading up to their reservation, we're quite surprised this topic never came up.
Like the majority of vacation rentals, this home is stocked with basic supplies to help guests settle in upon arrival. If guests run out of personal care items, they will need to purchase more.

Better for colder season
While this property states there is AC, the AC units are not in 2 of the 4 bedrooms so it gets really hot during July month. Unit had an odd smell to it, almost like pet urine. Not enough pots and pans to cook a meal for a group of 8. I come to steamboat annually for a soccer tournament and i would not stay at this unit again.

The owner of this condo is incredibly responsive to guest feedback. The owner has purchased and installed an entire new set of pots and pans. We weren't able to find or duplicate any sort of "smell", and we haven't had any other guests report this issue to us.
This condo is an affordable option for large groups looking to be close to the base area.

Nice place with some startup 'issues'
Overall we liked this place! It was clean, roomy, great for our large family group. The kitchen has most things we needed, although there could have been a bit more silverware in a house that sleeps 10. The one thing that we were a bit unhappy about was the check-in. I received an email with instructions and that was fine. The doors work with key cards and out of the 4 that were provided to us, only one actually opened the door. So we were able to get in. What was a bit more of a hassle was that the email had also said there would be a folder with more information about wifi, where to park, house rules etc in the apartement. There was not. Check-in starts at 4 pm so we got there around 4:30 and by the time we had unloaded the cars and realized we didn't have the folder the reception, where we actually had to pick up that info and reset the key cards that were not working, was closed (they close at 5pm - might have longer hours in the winter?). Bottom line is we only had one key and no wifi for the first night.
A quick warning for those travelling with kids, in the 4 night that we were here we saw bears on three occasions at different times of the day. One young one was hanging out in a tree right outside our kitchen for quite a while. I am new to Colorado, so seeing them in town was not something I am used to. We thought it was really cool to get to see them from a safe distance.

The unit was tired and a lot of features were original condition from the 70s to the 80s. The showerheads were ridiculously inadequate. Second floor unit, so there were a lot of stairs. The only great thing about the unit was the microwave oven. Bring your own pots and pans

False advertising. Is not 135 steps to Gondola.
Not only was the condo filthy (think inches of dust on the ceiling fans, the trash can made me want to get physically ill), it is not 135 steps to the gondola. Is it in a good location to the base? Yes. If the shuttle were reliable (40 minutes wait), it wouldn’t be an issue. The Covid “deep cleaning” policy was definitely not in effect at this location. I also did not appreciate the neighbors 2 day binger that left us up until all hours. Were they having a party in the hallway and continued to knock on our door? Yes. Give the front desk a call with any issues? Not likely to respond as we called multiple times. If you want a condo that is close to the gondola but hasn’t been cleaned since 1994, this is the place for you!

We take advertising seriously and do not false advertise. The listing headline says 135 steps from ski access, which is accurate. I counted it myself after taking off my snowboard. This guest seemed to think it was 135 steps to the Gondola, which when you think about it, is unrealistic. We also take COVID cleaning seriously, and absolutely do meet and exceed the guidelines established by the CDC and VRHA. Deep Cleaning is a term that applies to the more thorough cleaning of things that can not be cleaned in the 6 hour window between one group's departure and another group's arrival. Deep cleanings are done twice per year and includes steam cleaning the carpet and cleaning the ceiling fan blades. This guest stayed right at the end of ski season. It is true that the housekeeper missed scrubbing the interior of the trash can. Perhaps most importantly, the housekeeping for this property has been terminated and replaced with a thorough service. The cleaning fees will be higher for future guests but overall this property is very competitively and fairly priced.

We visited the property last week, and provided the property owner with a detailed report on the fireplace, the linens, and the property as a whole. The owner responded immediately. A fireplace technician will have the fireplace operational again this week, and the owner has decided to replace and upgrade all of the bedding. Sometime in the next few years, a major renovation may occur in the kitchen or bathrooms. Until then, this property will therefore be enhanced and improved in other ways, and will remain one of the best priced values in the development. Also, you're right, it does have a great location!

Great Getaway
We had such a great time at this condo. Everything went perfect and our family fit perfectly. I would say the downfall would be parking if you have any guests. Having the heated garage made a huge difference when we wanted to leave. We were so close to the gondola that we walked almost every time. We took the free Phoenix shuttle one time but where they drop you off at is almost the same distance walk from our condo!
I was disappointed this condo didn't have baking sheets. They also didn't have any movies or games there. You do have to walk up two flights of stairs as well. Other than that, our stay was perfect and this place deserves 5 stars!
