A meticulously clean and graciously furnished home that was equipped with all the amenities that helped make our stay a great one! Our host, Julie, left detailed information for all we needed to know about what the house had to offer. We were only a short walk to the beach...and discovered great restaurants in the area {highly recommend Craves!}. Definitely a five star property.
We loved the house and the fenced back yard. The proximity to the beach was great. And we enjoyed having an ocean-view restaurant/bar within a short walk away. The only downside was the underpowered wifi. I didn't have to work on this trip, so it wasn't an issue for us, but most vacations I take my laptop and work at least part of the time. We reported the issue to the owner after our stay, so hoping the issue has been addressed!
The house is gorgeous and clean. Steps from the beach with a giant fenced in yard. Neighborhood ice cream shop around the corner. The house is dog friendly but free of dog smells. We only had 1 small maintenance issue when we were there and it was fixed immediately. The house is smart, as are the tvs (cable provided!) We stayed 5 weeks and it was VERY comfortable.
We have been going to Florida for nine years, and this is by far the most beautiful place we have ever rented. This home has everything. The owner was very responsive to questions. The deck and fenced in yard were perfect along with the well-appointed, updated, clean, and spacious rooms. It's steps away from the beach in a quiet area and minutes to a dog park, grocery store, and other shops. The pictures online definitely reflect the beauty of this home. We could not have asked for a more perfect vacation property.
My husband, I and some occasional guests stayed at this property for 6 weeks. The location was great, just houses away from the beach, though the water is often rough. The house itself was very clean, well equipped and the property (big yard) well maintained. The yard was mostly fenced in, but there were a few spots where a cat or small dog could get through. The owner was easy to reach for questions. We really enjoyed our stay!
This house worked out great for our stay during August. One reason I chose this house was that it has a really nice fenced backyard that I knew my dog Terry would love to explore. The kitchen was stocked with lots of pots and pans and you could watch tv from most every room in the house (important during baseball season). Good memories of grilling out burgers and eating on the back deck in the private back yard many nights, and then walking to the Surfin' Scoops ice cream place down the street afterwards. I loved the private outside shower; it was a unique experience. You could shower outside in the late afternoon while it was still blazing hot outside and you could actually take a semi-cool shower and it felt great (although it had hot water too if you wanted to use it). Having beach chairs and a rolling beach wagon in the garage was a plus also. Joanne keeps this house very clean and both Joanne and Julie were very easy to work with. This is a very peaceful street; we took long dog walks down the street every day and the neighbors were friendly. This place worked out really well for us and I hope we get the chance to visit again.
This was a beautiful home with an incredible large backyard so our kids and dog could run around and play. 3 houses from the beach and everything we could've needed for our month long stay. Julie was very informative and responsive, and I would highly recommend this as a ace to get away to the beach.
I've lived in Volusia County for 15 years and recently decided to build in Ormond Beach. This "beach" home has been my interim home while I've been building. Before I moved in, I renovated the master bath, painted the whole house and garage, did a complete electrical upgrade including recessed lighting and replaced all of the switches and outlets, replaced the HVAC system, fenced in this fantastic yard and landscaped. I really don't want to leave. I will miss the easy access to the beach, the sound of the waves at night, the beautifiul sunrise and sunsets, the convenience to everything and my nice neighbors.
