Welcome to Planter's Paradise! This split-level is located in the heart of south Fargo on a quiet street within 3 blocks of a gym, a disc golf course and a HUGE park that includes outdoor pickle ball courts. The fenced in back yard is complete with a big deck, a fire ring and hammock posts to hang 3 hammocks.
My dogs loved this yard so much! The house was large and comfortable. We enjoyed the plants too! The neighborhood dogs and neighbors were very friendly and my dogs loved playing with the dog next door! Thanks so much for accommodating us!
We were traveling with family and really needed four bedrooms. Thankfully this property had that exact number of bedrooms and the bed setup was ideal. The space was cozy and manageable for our group although the common spaces were small. Three of the four bedrooms are located downstairs and one on the upstairs level. There was an installed gate at the top of the stairs if needed for young children. I appreciated the thought even though our youngest can now be safe on stairs. I joked with my husband that my favorite part of the home is the labeling on the kitchen cabinets and bedroom closets. It really did make finding items simple. The necessities are covered, but you will want to plan on a shopping trip for extra toilet paper and trash bags if you plan to stay longer than a few days. I did appreciate the nice washer and dryer. It always feels good going home with clean clothes!
We were in Fargo for the marathon, and your unit offered a comfortable and safe place for us to stay. The beds were comfortable, and the amenities were as described. We would stay again, if we needed a place in Fargo.
My daughters and I enjoyed staying here. The space was perfect for a relaxing long weekend. Our host was great at staying in touch, which I really appreciated.
We enjoyed it very much! Went to street fair, tried new restaurants and relaxed with our son and his girlfriend. Wasn't enough time to do what we wanted to do so have to do it when we go back. Thank you for everything!
My son got married in Fargo and this house was the perfect location for our family of 7 to stay. Plenty of space, comfortable beds and everything was very clean and welcoming. Would definitely book again!!
Stayed a couple nights, great space to explore Fargo/Moorhead from. Good place to crash after visiting all the breweries with my dad and brother. Plenty of room.
The townhome is very nice and clean. It had all of the necessities - bathroom supplies and kitchen needs. The listing was as described and was very clean. It was a short drive to downtown Fargo.
This is a condo, townhouse or whatever you want to call it. But itâs not a standalone house. Common wall. Living room, kitchen and dining room much smaller than look in listing photos.
The place gets quite warm with just the AC unit when itâs hot outside. Keypad entry on front door was very convenient to share with those staying. Beds and bedding are very basic, but we appreciated finding an affordable option that was walking distance to a grocery store, since we did not come with a car. The dishwasher was not working during our stay, so we had to hand wash.
The home was very clean and comfortable. I needed to get in contact with the host and she responded very quickly and helped me with my question. My only negative was that there was no tv, which we were obviously expecting. Otherwise everything was great.
Had a great 3 night stay while my mom and daughter who had a tournament in Fargo for the weekend. Great clean house with lots of space! Had our furry friends with and loved the fenced in back yard. The only item was the temp outside was in the 90s so the 1 air conditioner and fan needed a little more help with air flow so we bought two small fans to help. Otherwise I would stay here again! Karli was super responsive with questions. Thank you!
Do not stay here. It was terrible. The deck is not code and someoneâs going to get hurt. You are right on top of the neighbors who have two dogs and are outside smoking 90% of the time. There were stains and holes covering the couch and ottoman. There were stains on the bedding and on all the carpet. The towels were disgusting and I had to go buy all new towels and bedding. It was 95 degrees the night I was there and the house didnât get cooler than 80 because of the dirty outdated AC. The refrigerator is broken and dripping water out the filter causing a weird smell and stain along with the crusty spots and hair that was in there as well. Just absolutely disgusting..
The house was in a great location for us and the Fargo area. The neighborhood is pleasant although the neighbors are heavy smokers so time on the deck can be challenging. Our contact was very responsive to any issues we had and we did not request anything be fixed during our stay.. The house is pleasantly decorated and clean but here is the rub:
- Deck sliding door has a broken/missing roller very difficult to move, long term threshold is being damaged. Could be expensive to fix if not repaired now.
- Bath tub drains clogged with hair - we had to clean to drain
- Lower level towel bar fell off the wall, only machine screws in sheet-rock wall
- right refrigerator door has damaged hinges and does not close properly
- freezer leaks water on floor when it defrost, floor shows signs of an ongoing problem - surprise wet socks are no fun
- missing screens on the windows so couldn't open at night
- The air conditioning cools the main level pretty well (we had a hot week) but lower level needs at least one more fan to help all the bedrooms.
- bedrooms need room darkening curtains as sunrise is 5AM this time of year.
- There is no TV but you can stream, WIFI works well - a $10 antenna would at least get you a local channel for weather information.
Would we rent this again, YES, if the above issues were resolved especially the refrigerator and the sliding door as we like to sit on the deck in the morning and drink our coffee.
