Great stay for a wedding weekend

Walking in was literally like being at home. The living room was exactly like ours at home. The night before the wedding we had 10 people in our home ranging in age from 20 to 87. Having the airport within 5 minutes, the church within 12 one direction and the reception hall 12 minutes the opposite direction, we couldn't have asked for a better location! We had everything we needed and loved that our grown kids could just make their own food when needed and have a place to hang out in the basement.

Great place!

Nice, clean, cozy place. Very accommodating for a group of 6 adults, even though it will handle more people. Convenient to airport as well as other places in Fargo. It worked out well for us. Excellent communication with the host. I highly recommend it.

Nice house

This was the perfect house for our extended family. The location was quiet and close to grocery store. The house was well stocked and clean. Beds were comfy!

Christmas with Family

Plenty of beds, great location (grocery store 5 blocks away, lots of other amenities within 1-2 miles), quiet neighborhood, clean. I would book again. We had a wonderful stay with family.

Fantastic Property

We were up for USATF Regionals at NDSU and used this property as our overflow coaches house. It was perfect for what we needed it for. Clean, spacious and cozy. Exactly what we needed. Check in and out process was easy, great communication and all our needs were met. Close to NDSU!

Close to NDSU

Our family of 6 needed a place to stay near NDSU. The house is in a cute residential neighborhood, close to campus, and very clean. I found the owner very easy to work with prior to, during, and after our stay. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Fargo!

Clean house and quiet location

This was a nice house for my parents, me, and my two kids to stay in. It was clean and had a king size bed and bathroom in the basement, so different groups can have their own "space." The house is on a quiet street with a large yard and plenty of parking.

Extended family for Graduation

Perfect locations for extended family and I to attend a NDSU graduation! Extra touches like throw blankets and games made our visit even better! Quiet neighborhood near NDSU and geocaching adventure lab at Yonker Farm. Would highly recommend as host responses quickly and was very welcoming!

Emmy’s Escape is Excellent!

Our family of 10 needed a place to land for an overnight stay. We were in town for a family wedding. The house was as described and we found everything to our liking! Thanks Jory for providing an excellent option for us. I’d rate it a 10 all around from initial communication to check in and check out! All seamless and easy to follow instructions.

Great place to stay!

Updated, clean and quiet location. Great contact with the manager. He also allowed us to check in a few hours early. Seating for 7 in the living room plus there is an entire living space and tv downstairs that we never used. Basement steps are steeper than most, but there is a sturdy handrail and we had no problem navigating them. Good neighborhood that was very quiet. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend!

Disappointing Stay

In general, this listing was just kind of lacking and didn't live up to the description. I booked this VRBO with plans to cook a lot of food while I was there. The fridge was broken and not working, which the host did fix as quickly as he could so I'm not really complaining about that. That being said, the kitchen utensils were pretty limited, super scratched pans, and we didn't have a single dish towel. (All the dish towels were still in the laundry room, dirty from the previous guest.) Additionally, the large trash bin was full from the previous guest so we had no where to take our trash and ended up hauling it off ourselves. The grill was completely disgusting and not scraped from the previous guest. The lawn hadn't been mowed in at least two weeks. The firepit didn't work. I used the drier and a pair of shorts got stuck in the door and shredded. The beds were pretty uncomfortable. The living room rug needed a good cleaning and didn't even look vacuumed. This wasn't an issue for us, but the stairs to the basement are super steep so may be an issue for older folks or people with mobility issues. Overall, the house was nice sized and was decorated cute. We enjoyed the location and the driveway was large.
