Welcome! Located in the heart of idyllic New England, Walpole, NH. Within walking distance to a quaint downtown and access to restaurants, a coffee shop and local artisan boutiques. Stay and relax or venture out to near by Keene, NH, Quechee, VT or even take a day trip to Portsmouth, NH or Boston, MA.
Comfortable beds, clean bathroom. The listing says thereâs a kitchen/kitchenette, but there is no sink, or toaster and there is only a mini fridge (which needs to be defrosted) and microwave. All hallway lights were blown out which made navigating the narrow, winding staircase almost impossible at night. The garage entrance was easy to access, but needs to be fixed up (dangerous, uneven concrete). We were unaware until after booking that parking is on the Main Street, which was very difficult for us due to needing handicap parking. Iâm sure this place would be perfect for many guests, just not for us again in the future.
We would definitely recommend this VBRO property and would stay again! Easy check in and the apartment was just what we needed for a getaway to see the foliage.
We were in the area for an event in nearby Bellows Falls, VT. The location was ideal - just a short drive between these two quaint villages. The property itself was cute, cozy, and comfortable with everything we needed for our very relaxing one-night stay. Perfect place for a short fall getaway!
Erynâs place was great for me and my girlfriend. Very cozy, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Check in was very easy and Eryn was a great host!
Erin's place was just what this tired touring cyclist needed: quiet, roomy and both elegant and cozy! Erin was so kind when I barged in early, oops. I got to meet her that way though, which was a bonus. I look forward to returning!
Terrific location, charm and cleanliness.....
but a bit too many fall hazards for 'mature' folks, with stairs that take several turns to enter; stairs within unit to access bathroom; and a slight slope of the floor within the main living area.
The property was amazing! It offered several amazing opportunities all within walking distance, and the hosts did an amazing job communicating with us on where to put our vehicle during an unexpected overnight snowstorm.
The Colorado room was snug, cozy, and warm and had an amazing ambiance.
Directions on how to enter and exit the property were easy to follow.
We will absolutely want to stay here again when visiting New Hampshire and neighboring Vermont!
The most relaxing VRBO I have ever stayed at. The apartment was clean and well appointed with comfy couches, books to read, games to play and a little chocolate as a welcome. The shower had good water pressure, and the fans in the room kept it comfortable. I was able to have a good nights rest on the lovely bed and feel refreshed in the morning.
The heat in the queen room never came on, so it was a bit chilly overnight. Luckily the outside temps weren't too bad.
If you have a sensitivity to sound when you sleep, take the queen room, not the room with the twins. The church's clock tower rings hourly.
The unit was clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was awesome!!!
Checking in after dark and parking on the street was a bit of a surprise. I followed the map I was directed to online through VRBO, which lead me to an extremely remote area, 5 minutes further away from the event I was in town for. My intent was to see the place before we went to our event so, I would know where we were going to be after dark.
Our host was very responsive.
I was a little uncomfortable with the fact that I couldn't close and lock a door to keep others out of our space.
In the morning, I was surprised to see the beautiful decor and landscape.
Because I LOVED this little apartment, and I want it to be available every time I travel to New England!! It was the perfect home base for a visit with family. Since I left early each morning and was gone until after dark, the microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker were all I needed.
Eryn was delightful and incredibly helpful when I checked in. Especially since I had failed to read the instructions (bad guest!!) before I arrived. The keypad entry is a little tricky to operate, so the instructions are a must!
IMPORTANT: If you rely on mobile devices and havenât spent much time in rural New England, make sure you have a backup of your travel infoâmobile service is often unreliable. I was very lucky Eryn was there when I arrived!!
Bottom line? Puhleeeeze donât stay here so itâs available for me when I need it. đ
Eryn was an excellent host and her communication was outstanding. Really cute place in a beautiful community. Would definitely consider if in area again
Perfect location to wander into the small town center which has âsweetâ shops (fabulous chocolate etc) as well as an artisan shop and anything else you need!
