We loved our family vacation here! It wasn’t the best weather every day but that was okay. We spent our time fishing and crabbing on the dock, playing cards on the large porch and swimming in the pool on the warm sunny days. Checking the crab pots was a big hit all week long! This was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. The property and house were beautiful and had all the accommodations! We’d recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing family vacation!

What can I say except BEST VACATION ever. When we pulled up to this Beautiful home we were like Oh My Goodness. The grounds, house and pool were stunning! Then you walk into your vacation home for the next week and are just thrilled! The rooms are spacious, inviting, and oh so comfortable. The Best part is the dock out back with the beautiful views of the water. We fished, and used the crab pots provided to us . We played games provided as well. The home was adequately stocked and even starter things were provided hand soap, dishwasher tabs, and clothes detergent etc. I wouldn’t change a thing about this home. The host was very responsive and extremely helpful for the few things we had to ask about. If you are looking for a relaxing, memory making vacation you will want to stay at Grandview Manor. Until next time Grandview Manor.

2025 family vacation

We couldn’t ask for anything more. From the drive in to the property and then seeing the mansion we were blown away. It had everything we could ever need and then the back porch and the view. Amazing!!! We had such a great time hanging out in the large kitchen for meals and playing games. Poolside and tennis was a blast. The dock for fishing and crabbing along with kayaking in our kayaks that we brought. But nothing beat just relaxing on the back porch taking in the view. I wish that I was still sitting on the porch!!!! Not to mention close to Williamsburg and other attractions.

Wonderful Stay

Gorgeous waterfront Property with a great fishing/crabbing pier, in ground pool and tennis court(also great for pickle bal). Grand porches both back and front, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Very secluded yet only a few minutes to a nice little town with all you need. Property manager was extremely helpful the couple of times I had questions. Five stars all around.

Annual golf getaway

We have been taking a fall golf trip for the 18 years at many different locations. We have used VRBO about 8 times. This was the best house/property we have stayed at. It is a little bit of a drive to the Williamsburg course, but we did find a couple closer courses (Piankatank River and Golden Eagle Resort). Great view of a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay. Huge property that is very secluded. The house is large and has plenty of baths and TVs. The landlord was very accessible and helpful. LOVE the place!!!

SPACIOUS PLACE, BEAUTIFUL VIEW. NICE GROUNDS

The view was awesome and just so relaxing hanging out on the deck enjoying it. House was nice and spacious and laid out perfect for our families. We would love to rent again and the only thing holding us back is the fact that people came on the property late night or early morning. Plus someone drove up in four wheel vehicle and filled two of our three trash cans. I am assuming that both incidents were the owners but really not cool by any means. It was kind of creepy to say the least!

Fantastic Family Getaway!

Wonderful Family Vacation!

We had a wonderful family vacation at this beautiful property! The house was perfect and gave us all space to spread out. The house was spacious and had beautiful grounds, in front of a river with a pier. We enjoyed the fire pit every night. Be careful driving the dirt road at night, we almost hit deer twice, go slow.

Our family met for a few days together, coming from north, west and south of Virginia. Grandview was a wonderful spot -- lovely accommodations and amenities! We all decompressed for a day -- ahhh... The pool, tennis courts, corn hole game, table tennis, and crabbing off the pier at night! We are all adults, but we felt like kids again! Our younger group ventured out for Oktoberfest. We all enjoyed the back porch -- again, ahhh... Thank you for such a great vacation.

Amazing place

My family and I stayed here for our annual family vacation. We can honestly say everyone from the oldest to youngest had a blast. The house is very spacious for the 12 of us. The view of the water was spectacular from the back porch. And having the in-ground pool and pool house was great on the hot days. We will definitely want to stay here again!

Beautiful House - Beware of some cautions

Beautiful home. Plenty of space. Lots of amenities. Well maintained and clean. Beautiful grounds and gorgeous view. Needs TV’s in the upstairs bedrooms. In the downstairs bedroom (off the kitchen) a shade was broken and the room felt there was no privacy Master bedroom quite eclectic and huge, full length mirrors are everywhere in the extremely large bathroom. MINOR BEWARE - is the overhead vent on stove is a headbanger for anyone over 6 foot tall. MAJOR BEWARE - is the steps. The treads going down are on left side, but when you get to the last 3-4 steps they are extremely narrow on that side (inches wide) as they curve, and looking down you cannot tell where a step ends and next one starts.
