Spectacular hiking less than 3 miles away, quick 20 minute drive to downtown and less than 5 minutes to gyms, restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, gas station, etc. Hosts would love to help make sure you feel at home and have the best stay possible. They are native Tucsonans with plenty of recommendations and expert tips!
Basic private rental conveniently located in Tucson foothills, 10 minute drive to great hikes. Patio door opens towards Craycroft which is a big noisy road at all hours. Nice views of the mountains from mini patio.
From the location in a small quiet neighborhood to the beautiful views and the condition of the place everything was beyond my expectations!! I highly recommend staying there. I wish I could give 10 stars!!!
I thought everything was so great especially when I entered the room there was a tray for popcorn setup so sweetly. It was quiet and it felt really safe to be where we were. So thank you again.
My daughter, granddaughter and I were in Tucson for daughters dogs surgery, so we stayed just one overnight. The place was cute and tidy however the ad said there was a futon for second place to sleep and it was actually a sofa pull out bed which was horrible to sleep on or should I say not to sleep. (Maybe ok for kids to sleep on)
And waking up to barbells slamming on the floor at 6:00 -6:30 in the morning in the morning was not pleasant (Their home gym shares a full wall to the space) Owner was kind enough to shut the very bright outdoor lights off after we asked in the evening before bed. But i would suggest having then on automatic shut off in early evening so people can enjoy the stars or for sleeping. Location was nice... close to whatever one might need but in a quiet neighborhood and the space nicely decorated although I would suggest putting some actually flooring in as opposed to painted cement floor for a finished look and warmer feel. The rates were reasonable compared to many other crazily priced short term rentals. Overall an ok stay.
At arrival we were taken aback that this was a room behind a garage. That wasnât made clear in the listing. There was a beware dog sign on the homeowners window.
When we entered the room it was cute as pictured and they thought of many extras. Cute little patio with two chairs ..great view of neighbors yard and of the mountains. Homeowners refuse trash cans to the left of the patio.
There is a gap creating a clear line of sight into the bathroom even when the barn door was closed.
The main dealbreaker was the extremely intense fragrance. It choked us up..it made my eyes burn.
Being a leukemia survivor this was not good for me. There is also a big skylight that you canât close or dim. I did not see anything about this on the listing or I wouldnât have booked as I am light sensitive because of radiation years ago.
Called VRBO who contacted homeowner because we couldnât stay there..again a special second honeymoon. VRBO did not help to secure a new place to stay but had to wait on the homeowner. Before we left I heard from homeowner. He said he couldnât process a refund until stay was over and apologize bed for the strong scent blaming it on laundering the rugs. A few days later I get an approximate 30% refund!! I messaged the homeowner and i havenât received a response. I again contacted VRBO. I am awaiting a response from VRBO who is waiting on response from the homeowner yet again.
I would like a full refund.
I absolutely love this stay! It was super clean, so adorable, owners are incredibly nice and accommodating! Great little outdoor seating area to take in the views and itâs dog friendly! The neighborhood is stunning! I highly recommend staying here and being hosted by Lindsay and Brandon! Canât wait to come back again!!!
