Nestled on a picket-fenced, private corner lot in prestigious Cape Fear Station, this custom-built five bedroom, five-bath Charleston-style retreat, is an easy walk to Bald Head's popular East Beach and offers Maritime Forest serenity just steps from Access 42.
The deep front porch welcomes you to linger and listen to the sound of breaking waves. Inside, the foyer of this reverse-floorplan reveals some of its custom details-including hardwoods and wainscoting. To the right, a light-filled corner Queen suite with desk proffers a large ensuite bath with a walk-in closet, water closet, jetted tub, tiled shower and double granite vanity. Next door, a sunny suite with two Twins grants forest vistas and its own full bath with a tub/shower. Across the hall, another bright corner Queen suite also provides a walk-in closet and ensuite full bath with a tub/shower.
Upstairs, the Queen Primary suite boasts not only a walk-in California closet and ensuite with a tub/shower but also accesses one of the home's top-level screened porches - the ideal spot for a quiet read enjoying briny breezes. Beyond, this level's living space's open floor plan is crowned by a high, vaulted, beamed ceiling and soaked in natural light from its surrounding windows. The comfortable conversation area is anchored by a gas fireplace and tenders naturescapes on all sides plus egress to both second-story screened porches.
