Thanks for the great review and compliments Kathryn! The Lake can be pretty mean sometimes when the winds are high. It looks amazing when it’s calm and also when it’s mean, but those winds can drop the temperature a lot! Thank you for choosing to celebrate your Anniversary at my place. Dear Yvonne, I am glad you found my property relaxing. I am not sure what you mean about a “tight neighborhood”? If you mean the people have a strong sense of community, I’d agree with that. I don’t understand the privacy part though. I would once again urge guests to let me know when there is a problem. Yvonne gave me 4 stars because she didn’t know how to light the fireplace. I have detailed instructions in the welcome folder, but she did not look in it, nor did she call or message me to let me know she couldn’t light it, she just gave me 4 stars. I asked her after I saw the review why she didn’t ask me for help and she said she didn’t think I lived in the area. She apologized for the 4 stars and said she would change it to 5 stars, but then VRBO requires you to call them to do it and she said it wasn’t worth her time. I would urge people to reach out if there is a problem to give us hosts a fighting chance to make your experience a 5 star experience. It’s what I set out to do.

Jonathan, Thanks for the great review. I am sorry you didn’t like the beds. I have had so many compliments about those beds. A couple of party's wanted to know where I bought them and what brand because they wanted to buy the same ones for their house. As for a gate to the fishing, we just put in a massive fishing and swimming access in the next lot over. I wish you would have asked me about it. I didn’t know you were going to be doing any fishing. Hey Heidi, I am confused about your review. I have a coffee table in the living room, a bar that seats 3 in the dining room, a bar that seats 3 in the rec / exercise room and also a massive table that seats 6 in the rec / exercise room. As far as the lake access, my property is attached to a 30 foot wide lake access. I am not sure what you thought was limited about it?
