I can't say enough good things about the mini-mansion and our hosts. We rented the house to attend an out-of-town wedding and made it a long weekend with family and friends who also rented homes and stayed in hotels in the area. The house is fantastic: warm, inviting, well-kept, spacious, impeccable decor, and all kinds of unique nooks, crannies, decks, and patios. The canal out back with the multiple patio spaces was a great place to hang out with family and friends. The kitchen was large, well-stocked, and included an induction stove. The deck off of the third floor bar was fantastic for sunset. The third floor sitting area contains large windows with incredible views of Lake Erie. The lift/elevator allowed my 86-year-old mother-in-law to join us for drinks on the third floor. Our house immediately became the go-to house for our family and friends staying in the area. Host Michael is exactly what you look for when renting a VRBO home. When we added a day he took care of the additional "paperwork." Michael left snacks and water for our arrival. He responded promptly to our questions and requests. Luna Pier is a charming little lake town. The beach was fantastic. My daughters and I paddle boarded ever day. The flatness of the lake shore made for great biking. Downtown Luna Pier and the beach were an easy 1-mile walk or bike ride. If you need to stay in Toledo or Monroe, or if you are passing through, be sure to stay in this awesome mini-mansion.
First I would like to thhank Mike for being such a wonderful host. The mansion had everything we needed to cook homemade ravioli dinner. The view from the kitchen is amazing. The french doors to the balconies are beautiful as the views from them are as well. It is quiet besides the wild life. Upon arriving I had a bunny welcome me. Woke up to lots of birds chirping. The bath tub does have room for two and is jetted. The bathroom its self is just as beautiful as the reat of the place. The beds are terrific. It made for a great sleep. I even slept in and never do that any more. If you get a chance to stay here take it. You wont be disappointed.
A beautiful property with a very nice view. Creatively appointed with great amenities. We enjoyed the backyard, playing pickle ball just across the canal, and the mile walk to town where we enjoyed the waters edge and the warm atmosphere, restaurants and people. Such a lovely getaway!
Celebrated my 12th Wedded anniversary and 25 years together. Got Married in Boatin as soon as it became legal for LGBTQ, was instantly transported back to that G'Nors' mansion we married in. This Apt is perfect for the cozy. Veey well equipped. The views are AMAZE BALLS!!!! The caretaker was lovely and personable. She's a hugger like me!
Was in a quiet neighborhood. Good location near the water. Cleanliness was terrible! Dust everywhere. Dirty hand towel and wet washcloth in the bathroom. No check-out instructions. Also, should let people know how many outside steps there are just to get to the door.
