The Fortezza da Basso and the Central Station, at 1300 meters, can be reached on foot, by bicycle and by bus.
In addition, just 100 meters from the house there is the famous historic garden called "Giardino dell'Orticultura" with the largest nineteenth-century greenhouse in Italy. Just above the "Orti del Parnaso" from which you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the city and is an excellent point to see the "Fochi di San Giovanni": a great firework display held every year on June 24, for the patron feast of the city.
