Palms at Wailea #1207 is a lovely ground-floor unit at a much sought-after complex. It is a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with a fully equipped kitchen, renovated bathrooms, new flooring throughout, washer and dryer, and wifi. The primary bedroom is equipped with split system A/C as well as a ceiling fan and features a king-sized bed, a SmartTV, and an en suite bathroom. The guest bedroom features twin beds and a ceiling fan. Both bathrooms have been renovated and feature walk-in showers. The living room includes a queen sofa bed, a ceiling fan, and a television. Beach chairs and beach towels are provided in Palms at Wailea #1207 for your use. There are a few steps leading up to this ground-floor unit.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.

The fabulous Keawakapu Beach is just a short 10 minute stroll from the Palms at Wailea. This beach is world famous for its great snorkeling and long walking beach. The Palms at Wailea is a gorgeous property; lush with tropical landscaping. There is a large pool and hot tub that is perfect for sunbathing and has a magnificent view of the ocean from the pool area. We are pleased that our properties at the Palms at Wailea have been chosen to be featured in the number 1 selling book "Maui Revealed" and their website. These properties were chosen because of their superior quality and great rates!

We stayed with a family of 4 for 7 nights. Truly wonderful experience. Great central location. Unit was clean and well updated. Pictures are an accurate depiction. Many helpful amenities including several useful beach items in the main bedroom closet. A/C in main bedroom was nice; secondary room got a bit warm but we utilized the floor fans in that room. Outdoor space was perfect. Enjoyed the convenience of the ground level and did not miss out on any views (not being in a unit with a second floor balcony). Parking was close and convenient to the unit. Dumpster was also close. Loved having the laundry in the unit. Suggestions to the owners: add suction hooks in shower for hanging wet swimwear, install a hose reel to keep in from sitting in a pile on the patio, add a second 'recycle' trash bin under the kitchen sink. Only 'complaint' would be the tiny bugs all over in the kitchen - but this is probably just part of island life and they were a nuisance but did not impact our stay significantly...we just kept all food in the fridge/freezer. Will definitely stay again on a future visit!!

The unit was clean and well maintained. Everything we needed for our short stay was provided. Pool is very nice, water is warm. Easy drive to several of our favorite beaches and the Shops at Wailea.

A large move up from 902 the dump at Maui Palms

All good nicely upgraded very clean and extra things like beach chairs snorkeling gear large umbrellas. Bottom floor easy access nice space outside with nice chairs and BBQ. This place has it all!!!

All was good except the second bedroom was very hot and never really cooled down. One of the fans didn’t work very well and had to buy one, which we left behind. Other than that all went well.

Reviewer Comments: The Wailea Palms location in Maui was terrific - just a 5-minute drive to Ulua and Po beaches and 15 min to Makena Beach. Also 5 minutes to the Wailea Shops. The property had everything we needed including beach chairs, towels and a boogie board. Appliances were a little dated but functional - the dryer was loud and squeaky - so set it and leave the house :) The pool, hot tub and view of the sunset from the property were wonderful!

8th time staying at the palms. We live the property and location.

Great but the unit needs an a/c in the main area and some maintenance. Slider doors locks broken and hard to open. Bathrooms are partially remodeled and nice. They give you tons of towels. Overall a very nice unit though. Mattresses are great.

A wonderful vacation for four!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time and our unit perfect in terms of locations and amenities. Lots of towels, beach equipment was all there - boogie board , chairs, umbrellas and snorkel gear. the kitchen had supplies and I love when people leave behind the spices, oils and vinegars so we didn’t have to buy and we also left behind what we didn’t use. Pay it forward kinda thing. I would stay at this condo over and over again. Clean. Modern, and made for a perfect holiday vacation.

Overall we were happy with our stay. Only disappointment was that it said the unit had ac. Well it did, but only in the master bedroom. Which isn’t where we all hung out or where our kids slept. Also the master bathroom shower did not drain AT ALL. It was nasty to shower in cold standing water wondering how many other guests nastiness was clogging it up; so we didn’t. Water would still be there the next day. So we all had to use the other shower. It’s also gross because it also shows no one cleaned the shower between guests or they would have known it didn’t drain and reported it to the property manager.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wailea Palms is in a wonderful location. Close enough to walk to Kihei and an enjoyable walk along the Wailea path that sits between the high end resorts and the blue Pacific. Unit 1207 is showing its age. Primary bathroom has been nicely renovated, however the rest of the unit needs attention. Appliances are original (decades old) yet functional. Kitchen has a very nice assortment of utensils and equipment. Missing is a coffee bean grinder though. Outdoor furniture is in need of an update. Cushions are pretty flat from years of use. Outdoor grill is excellent. When not having a meal out, most dinners were done outdoors. Beach chairs are nice, comfortable and relatively new. We are compulsive cleaners and yet the kitchen remained an area where ants had their way regardless. Did find bug spray under sink that would work for 24-36 hours. Only other negative was older Video units that don't have the ability to stream. This could be an issue with any rain days where you want to chillax in front of the TV.
