We had a wonderful family reunion at this rental on Frye Island. There was plenty of space for all of us and the rental was generously appointed with plenty of kitchen utensils and tableware for our large group. The three refrigerators and two dishwashers were a treat for us. We would be back for nest summer if it was not already rented.

Wedding trip

We stayed 9/18 thru 9/23 for my sons wedding taking place on the island 9/21. The house was beautiful, perfect for our needs and was as advertised. Tory provided all of the essentials. The weather was perfect. Couldn't have asked for more.

The best place for a large family

We're a family of 20 and require at least 7 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a complete and highly functional kitchen, a large gaming room and sandy beach suitable for infants. This is the only place that has checked all the boxes. Its clean, private, functional with plenty of space for 20. Tori was a great host, responsive to any and all queries. We rebooked for next year and hope to return year after year.

Perfect Family Reunion

Our 5 families plus grandparents get together every 2 years and this is the best appointment house we have ever stayed at. Tori has really thought of everything. Along with the 2 dishwashers, 3 fridges and 2 gas grills the kitchen has everything needed to cook for a large gathering. Lots of large pots and pans, crockpot, blender, multiple toasters. We cooked hamburgers/hotdogs the first night and the tanks were low, I let Tori know just so she could have them replaced before the next people came, and someone was there to replace them the next day! The house yard has plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We had a great time swimming in the lake and hanging out by the fire pit.

Great for Multi-Family Trips

We had a group of 6 families with kids ranging from 2.5 to 13 the last week of June. The house was incredible for our group - everything in the house is designed for large groups: Every family had their own toilet and sink with extras to spare. The kitchen has 2 large sinks and 2 dishwashers…. 3 refrigerators in house with an ice maker… The island is great for exploring - between bike rides around d the island…. to the general store… and games of pickleball plenty to do. Highlight of our trip was renting a 150hp Pontoon which we moored at the house. We took the kids tubing every day and explored the lake. The lake was surprisingly a perfect temperature for swimming. The property has plenty of shade and opportunity to lay out in the sun. The host had great communication - sent us a ton of details to ensure we had plenty of fun things to do - and was highly responsive to each inquiry we sent. We will definitely be back!

A Little Piece of Heaven

The perfect house and location for a gathering of family and/or friends. Victoria has given lots of thought to what is needed to make your stay perfect. Not sure how she arranged for a week of perfect weather, but it was! We are sure to be back again for another very special family gathering.

Perfect Extended Family Get-away

This property and host Caitlyn are both phenomenal! Couldn’t ask for anything better! House is perfectly laid out for entertaining extended family groups with enough separate space to give some privacy. Dock and Lake set up is ideal with small children. The way the rock formation were laid out, there was a very safe area for the kids to swim in shallow water after digging to their heart’s content in adjoining private beach area. House is extremely well-provisioned! Really hope to stay here again!

Perfect House!

We are previous island owners and Frye Island is our favorite place in the world. This was our second time staying in this house and it was as perfect this time as it was the first time! The house lacks nothing. We were a group of 18 and there was plenty of room for everyone! I will never stay anywhere else on Frye Island! Thank you Kirby family!

Perfect lake house vacation!

Beautiful lake house for a large group. We had babies, young children, teenagers, college age, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and 70’s…plenty of space to spread out and something to do for everyone. This home was perfectly and thoughtfully appointed. The owners were very attentive and helpful from the booking all the way up until they greeted us and gave a tour upon our arrival. We had a spectacular vacation!

Spacious and Comfortable

Rented this for a family gathering and it is perfect for that, with plenty of both gathering and individual space for everyone. There was always a group on the porch, playing pool and games, and of course in the lake. Plenty of fridge and cooking space. The long dinner table made for fun toasts with the whole group. Highly recommended!

Beautiful home on a beautiful lake and Island

Our family of 19 had a wonderful vacation. Had a great time swimming and boating. The kayaks and canoe were used on a daily basis. Plenty of space throughout the house and the older kids enjoyed the pool table at night. We had plenty of space to cook just about every night and all eat together since there is plenty of seating.

special & intimate wedding week!

my new hubs and I had our hearts set on getting married on Sebago Lake, were I grew up. We needed somewhere that had it all - privacy, ceremony, yard, outdoor dinner, & room for 20 guests to sleep & stay. this property was so perfect. everyone got their own bedroom & space, even the kids got their own room, the private enclosed beach was so perfect for the 6 kids, & the dock easily stored our boat. I could go on & on. our family is already talking about coming back for my parents 40th in a few years. thank you Caitlin & Bob!

Amazing family vacation

This is the best house I have ever stayed in for a family vacation - hands down. The layout of the house, the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the living spaces, the kitchen, the laundry room, the closets (best design ever for storing a lot of peoples stuff) the outdoor porches, the lawn, the beach, the dock - all honestly perfect. We had six couples and a pack of grown children ebb and flow over the week and it worked out for everyone. I also can't say enough about Caitlin and Bob. They helped us with a flat tire, came to my cousins rescue when he ran out of gas for his boat, got us additional owner rate ferry passes, and answered every question and need. Our family has been vacationing on Lake Sebago for fifteen years but had never ventured onto Frye Island - we LOVED it. The lake is always a winner with our group but this year pickle ball (a short walk from the house) almost beat out the lake it was so much fun. We played croquet and badminton on the lawn, road bikes and had massively competitive tennis and pickle ball matches every day. And at night the big kids all sat around in the den and played charades and some crazy game called werwolf and had a blast. A place that makes a group of 18-27 year olds want to come back is a winner every time - a truly truly delightful week. Thank you Caitlin and Bob for making it possible and we cannot wait to come back.

Quiet cove

Great outdoor areas a screened in porch and a nice front porch, a comfy hammock. Kids had lots of fun in the water a great place for a family get together. Plenty of bathrooms
