Cedar’s Rest Cabin

Serene, two bedroom cabin away from it all, yet close to everything.
Cedar’s Rest is tucked away in a mountain setting surrounded by beautiful mature Cedar Trees. There is a hammock hanging in the Cedar’s where you can totally relax and leave all your worries behind. The cabin is very cozy and you will sleep great in the plush king size beds. You can sit outside and gaze up at all the stars around the fire pit of the 26 acre open field. The cabin is located 7.5 miles to Walmart, CVS, Food Lion, and Restaurants. Driving time is about 10-12 mins. Its just a short drive into the town of Bedford.

Great place to stay while we attended a wedding in the area. Location is awesome if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. Rooms were very clean and host provided clear communication. Would definitely recommend!!

This property is absolutely beautiful and the listing is spot on. So cozy and serene. We loved our stay the entire time. Our two dogs had a field day on the land and wide open spaces. The outdoor patio is a great spot for a morning coffee and the view was beautiful.

Just as listed. Whoever built/refurnished the cabin did a great job. Just the right size, clean and plenty of outside space for the pets. I certainly would stay again.

So peaceful! The house and property are both beautiful and so thoughtfully put together, my husband and I sat in the porch for hours talking and laughing, the quiet setting made for such a wonderful evening!

The cabin and surroundings are so clean and peaceful. We would highly recommend this rental to those who may be visiting the Bedford, VA area. The owner was very accommodating and easy to contact. Very good experience. Would rate 10 stars if possible.

Great time in the Blue ridge mountains

This was a perfect stay for two old friends and a pup. We were able to relax on the porch or in the hammock, do some demanding walks from Peaks of Otter / Appalachian trail and enjoy a nice grilled dinner on the way back. Peaceful and very lovely views. Great communication from hosts.

A beautifully restored home

This is a beautiful and comfortable home. It is surrounded by rolling farm fields and mountain tops. The home is beautifully decorated. Bryan stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed, told us some of the history, and places to visit in the area. This was a great spot to stop on our way back north, and we will certainly stop again.

Another Excellent Stay

This is our second time staying at Cedars Rest and we would happily go back again and again! The property was perfect to run dogs around privately, and the cabin itself is very nicely decorated and cosy. Food and stores are only a short drive away, and the blue ridge parkway is only a little further out. A little hidden gem!

Soul Restoration Getaway

My husband and I live in Richmond Virginia. We needed just a mental and physical break from the grind and wanted to be able to slow down and rest. We loved the beauty, peace, the ability to enjoy one another by the fire. Our son was able to come meet us also as he is a Student at Libert.

Elegant county setting!

A beautiful property with amazing county meadows and woods. The home is practically brand new and very nicely decorated, clean and very convenient to Bedford and surrounding communities. Country Living at its Best

Very well maintained property that appears to be relatively new. Easy to book and great communication with the owners. Our dogs loved the yard, playing ball and being lazy on the porch. They even greeted a few deer. I will return!!!

A true home away from home

A little off the beaten path is this 2 bedroom dreamy home. We chose this VRBO since it allowed us to bring our pup and crate him whole we.moved our daughter into Liberty University. All the comforts of home so much better than a hotel

Hi there. We are Bryan and Christy. We enjoy sharing our cabin with guests to enjoy what we love. We aim to make sure you have a great stay at our cabin. We want you to feel right at home from the time you pull up at Cedar’s Rest.
We are local to Bedford and enjoy spending time working around the farm with our two Doodles Lily and Heidi.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This cabin is on our farm and we have always loved this open field along with the beauty of all its surroundings. We thought the cabin would be a wonderful place for people to just get away from all there worries and enjoy. It’s in a safe country setting. You will see wildlife and can hear the birds sing from morning til night. On a clear night, you can see thousands of stars. Just look up.
