Thia beautifully serene property is 200â of private rocky beachfront. Just steps away from the ocean. An enormous lovely deck with panoramic views. Oceanfront fire pit. Winter spring summer or fall, the stargazing is amazing. This fully tastefully furnished vacation home is super spacious. Perfect for a romantic getaway or workcation⊠or a little of both! Youâll feel pampered and hopefully right at home. So many more amenities and features associated with this property. We tried to think of everything! Come and feel your cares melt awayâŠAND thatâs before you even leave the property! A luxury year round experience!
My wife and I stayed at this property and were very pleased with everything. The house was very clean and had so many things that made us feel welcome. The property manager was super useful and had great recommendations. And the view with being right on the water was beautiful.
We loved how it was away from the bigger towns yet close enough too.
Spectacular. Thank you for a amazing weekend. The place was wonderful and that sunrise was breathtaking. Thank you for everything and we will be back!!!
This property was immaculate. From the moment we stepped through the door, it felt like a home. Karen thought of everything imaginable to make it a perfect stay. From the beautiful carriage house, to the fire pit overlooking the ocean, and of course the beautiful rocks and ocean that only the Maine coast can provide! Thank you for making this such a great getaway for us! We will definitely be back!
You are a wonderful host, the set up and thought out card and flowers đ. I couldn't ask for anything more. It's good to know their's still good people in this world. The property is worth the drive and we didnât even need to call you once everything was laid out perfectly. You're artistic with the way your vacation home is. I would come back over and over again.
Thanks you so much.
What a beautiful, peaceful location on the coast of Downeast Maine! Slack Tide Carriage House did not disappoint. The house is wonderful with all of the comforts of home. Kazzie thought of everything!
We were celebrating our 40th Anniversary and she thoughtfuly had a bottle of wine and some chocolate candies for us, and some yummy homemade chocolate chip cookies!
Waking up to a beautiful sunrise each morning from the comfort of the house. While enjoying a fire we heard the loons. We even saw the Aurora Borealis our first night there!
The house is in a great location. We visited FDR's summer home on Campobello Island in New Brunswick, walked on the beach at Rogues Bluffs, did a little hiking and Schoodic Point!
Kazzie thank you for giving us a tour of Mermaid's Mist.
It is beautifully decorated with an amazing view! We'll have trouble deciding where to stay the next time.
Thank you so much Kazzie, we enjoyed meeting you.
We definitely would love to come back and stay sometime in the future.
We spent several days visiting towns on the coast with our final destination being SlackTide. It was such a relief to "settle" for a few days. I was a little nervous about hurricane Lee hanging out so long but Kazzie was great about putting my mind at ease. We woke up every morning to watch the sunrise, the stove is on thermostat and it came on every morning for about an hour, and we would drink our tea/coffee and enjoy the fire. We visited US Bells which was fascinating and very close. We visited a little art gallery called Chapter Two that was right around the corner. Our first stop was Darthia Farms and we went there twice. Me and Ben's Dairy Creme is a must stop, as is Lunch on the Wharf. We both came down with a head cold and weren't feeling great so we didn't ride bikes to Schoodic Point, but it just gives us a good reason to go back. We took a quick trip to Bar Harbor and had lunch at the Terrace Grill. Way to many people for us, so we scurried back to Corea. We did get to watch a fishing boat unload it's lobster, which was interesting. We ended every day by the fire pit, listening to the ocean, and star gazing. We were so fortunate to have such clear days. I'm sorry we burned up a seasons worth of firewood Kazzie! George wanted me to add that. đđ Honestly, it was a wonderful place to stay, and we enjoyed our forays in the middle of the day, so we could better avail ourselves of the amenities at SlackTide. Thank you for sharing you carriage house with us Kazzie.
Surely the best appointed rental property we have stayed at; every little detail was thought of (good coffee/tea, various outdoor seating options, laundry supplies, bug spray, pillow options, etc., etc.). And the cleanest: every inch of the place was completely spotless, as if it were brand new. Excellent communication from owner. Beautiful, very quiet and calm location, out of the way of the Acadia crowds and traffic, but perfectly convenient (the Schoodic part of the national park is lovely, a very short drive, and comparatively not busy at all). Absolutely no complaints, or even criticisms. Highly recommended.
If I could give this 10 stars, I would. Beautiful, peaceful, ocean front property perfectly situated to see the beauty of Maine. Cute towns, and super nice people. House was immaculate with anything and everything you might need. Kazzie was an amazingly host. She helped us with local insight, which helped tremendously. Canât recommend this enough. The wife and I had the most refreshing time thanks to Kazzieâs hospitality, and the wonderful area
My husband wanted to âstay on the water in Maineâ and this is what met our needs near Acadia National Park. The host was incredibly accommodating, pleasant, and thoughtful. We let her know we were expecting and she left a bottle of sparkling grape juice instead of wineâŠhow sweet! She was in communication leading up to our arrival and answered any and all questions. The house is immaculate and every detail has been thought through for what guests might need. The scenery is beautiful and so relaxing. It is about 30 minutes into Ellsworth for mainstream grocery stores and food and about 45 minutes to Acadia National Park. We found it to be a welcome retreat in the afternoons and cooked all our dinners there. We were genuinely sad to leave!
