Xanadu Villa offers the ultimate in privacy, size and comfort to its guests. With 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, a living room and family room, a kitchen and kitchenette, a nicely furnished exercise room, the 4000 square home along with another 1600 square feet of covered and open patio areas, this property offers plenty of options for relaxing, entertaining and enjoying the best of what Santa Fe has to offer. From the heavily wooded 5 acre property you have views of the Jemez Mountains to the West and the Sangre de Christo Mountains and the Santa Fe ski basin to the East. The property is 8 miles North of Santa Fe in the hills of Tesuque.

Upon arrival and entering the enclosed front courtyard you are immediately struck with the uniqueness of the property. There is a large covered portal on the front side of the home with two different seating areas, one with a flaming firepit table. The thoughtfully placed hot tub and BBQ grill are located just to the right of the portal. Adjacent to this area are the steps to the 900 square-foot observation deck with an outdoor sectional sofa and pub table with chairs and a gas heater. The views from the deck are spectacular. The sunset photos that you see were taken from this area. This deck is also conveniently accessible from the master bedroom.

Upon entering the home from the 12' high front portal you immediately realize that a lot of thought went into maximizing the views from the home. Beautiful natural wood beams have been used throughout with wood decking above the beams and beautiful natural hardwood flooring giving the home its distinctive look. There is a large easy-flow kitchen with all new appliances and an extensive amount of storage space. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for preparing a meal. The adjacent dining room has a corner fireplace and the table will adjust from a 6-person seating to seating for 10. The high ceiling and wood beams throughout the living room along with all of the tall windows make for a very comfortable gathering place and amazing views of the mountains. There is a gas fireplace in this room as well. There is a door leading onto a deck that offers views to the Southwest including the Santa Fe Opera.

Additionally, there is a full-size guest bathroom with a tub and shower on this level. When you enter the master suite once again you appreciate all of the beautiful wood beams used in the vaulted ceiling of the bedroom and the hardwood floors in the bath and closet area. There is a 4-poster bed, beautiful furniture, and a 60" TV that lowers from the ceiling. The large observation deck is also accessible from the master bedroom and there is an additional deck matching the living room area off the back side of the room with the same Southwest views including a small seating area.

The stairs to the lower level are very open with 16' high ceilings lead directly to the spacious family room which also features a wood beam ceiling with wood decking and is beautifully furnished with custom-made furniture and features a bar to one side and another 65" TV that drops down from the ceiling. The views are amazing since the room has such large windows. There is corner gas fireplace in this room as well.

Just off this area is the lower level master bedroom with a King bed which is beautifully appointed, and has a 3/4 bath and walk-in closet. Around the staircase and down the hall are the 3 Queen bedrooms all of which have been thoughtfully furnished with functional furniture and wall art. One of these bedrooms has a walk-in closet as well as a door leading outside to a private seating area under the trees. The laundry room has a new large-capacity washer and dryer and fully furnished kitchenette with sink, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and all accessories. Just past this area and leading to the double car garage is a large exercise room with nice equipment, views of the backyard and a large flat screen TV.

There are 4 doors leading to the backyard which is completely enclosed by a stucco wall and offer several areas to gather around a table or relax on the hammock or just enjoy the open space and nature. The silence can be deafening. A bit further down the flagstone path is the lovely labyrinth.

During your stay at Xanadu Villa you are the only guests at the property and have full access to what the home has to offer.
