Now Featuring TV/AC and WIFI
This cabin features a double bed, sink, toilet and hot water. A clean shower house are steps away(appx. 30') from your door, with three (3) private showers with great water pressure.
We have a 24 hour Coffee Bar, Laundry, Ice and Vending Machine on site, next to our showers for you to enjoy FREE of charge.

Enjoy our several charcoal/gas grills, outdoor tables, fire pits and tables, on-site arcade, yard games including corn hole, and connect four while taking in the wonderful lake views.

Lake Access:
You can see the lake access from your cabin just a short walk past the arcade, towards the steps and you will see our Lake Access sign, this access has a sandy bottom. If you are wanting a more traditional sandy beach we are within walking distance to the Alton Town Beach

Vacanza NH has complementary bicycles and kayaks for our guests to use on a first come first serve basis. We are within walking distance to most of Alton Bay attractions including the town beach (sandy beach) restaurants, ice cream, and the marina.

This cabin is perfect for vacations, & enjoying the all the lakes region has to offer, rent multiple cabins for the perfect group getaway.

We do allow pets, but please review our pet policy to ensure our cabins are the right fit.

Pet Policy:We must be notified in advance that you will be bringing a pet(s), and weight of your pet(s).

-Pet must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guest.

-All guests will be charged a one-time flat fee of $40.00 per pet per day or a flat $200 fee for weekly stays.

-Guest agrees to clean up animal waste of the pet(s) and agrees to accept full responsibility and liability for any damage, injury, or actions arising from or caused by pet(s).

-All pets must be in crates if left unattended, and cannot cause any disturbance, to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced .

-Pet(s) cannot be left alone for more than 3 hours. They cannot be tied up outside unattended, and must be on a leash when outside.

Steve was very responsive and helped out right away when I was in desperate need of another pillow! Next time I might try for one of the cabins with a closed in porch, plenty of outdoor places to sit. Alton Bay is kind of a cool little place and minutes away with a good variety of restaurants and ice cream! Showers were clean, coffee bar was well supplied except for real sugar. We would recommend this place to others.

Get Away

We had a wonderful stay, close to weirs beach and all the attractions we wanted to visit. Lovely town, with small, or drive in diners. Would love to book again in the future.

Perfect layover

Clean cozy cabin that was perfect layover for the night. Our dog loved the fire pits and the view from the deck was very nice!

Concert stay

Nice little cabin. Cozy and clean, very nice outdoor setup for guests with the firepits and arcade and golf. Great overnight stay close to the concert venue for us.

Nice Cabin Village

We stayed there in 2020, lots of updates, along with the AC/Heat are new. The coffee station, gazebo with lots of sitting space and the arcade were all great. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the road and water traffic.

Nice weekend getaway

My 8-year-old son and I stayed in one of the small cabins, was perfect for our weekend. Swimming across the street, campfires at night and a small onsite arcade that he loved (he had just been at camp for a week so was slightly screen deprived.) Gunstock is only 20 minutes away (would recommend the Mountain Coaster!) and the cabins are walkable to a few serviceable restaurants and bars.

Close to Pavilion

Cute cottages. Very clean. We ate dinner in town before show. Easy drive to the Pavilion and back. Well lit at night. Would be a fun place to stay in separate cottages with other couples as well.

Overnight stay for a concert

This was the perfect one night stay for a concert at Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford. Woke up to beautiful lake sunrise with a cup of coffee on the deck. Property is thoughtfully and strategically laid out. Cabin was clean and exactly as described. Next time we will stay two nights to take advantage of the kayaks and bikes! Distance to the concert was less than 20 minute drive. Perfect.

Last minute get-a-way

We stayed here last minute to be near a family member who had a lake rental nearby. The cabin was sufficient. Water access to the lake was disappointing though. No beach to speak of. The campground atmosphere was nice. Having grills available to cook was helpful. It was too hot to have a campfire. More comfortable chairs in the cabin would have been nice.

Luann. I confirmed that we don’t advertise a “beach”. However our lake access has a sandy bottom ! Did you check out the Alton Town Beach within walking distance ? Cabin 7 has a dining table with a couple wood chairs as pictured. We will look into more comfortable chairs inside ! Did you utilize your amazing screened in porch with nice outdoor seating ? We hope to see you next season as we take every opportunity to improve!

Served the need ..

We needed a place for one night in Alton. The unit was a refurbished older cabin with decent modern touches. Bed was a full-size for 2 adults which is not ideal. Had the essentials the room and property was clean. On a busy noisy road that does get quieter in evening. Peak weekend price was understandable but honestly above what I would expect to pay.

Disappointed.

While we expected a “cabin” - I was disappointed in the overall experience. A blanket on the bed would have been nice for an October stay. (Chilly!!) We had reached out to the contact person asking if it was possible for a little earlier check in since we were getting ready to attend a wedding that evening. We we got no reply. And then when we entered, there were plenty of cobwebs across the door showing the room had not just been vacated And we could have gotten in a bit early. There was no cup at the sink (paper or plastic would have been fine) and no coffee cups at the coffee bar. Bed very soft and saggy.

Although requests for early check in come in we do not offer early check in However we do ask you to reach out when you are on site to see if you can get in early, our cleaning staff works diligently. We do have a blanket on the bed and brand new heating system that you control that could’ve turned your cabin into a sauna in 15 minutes…(lol) We do not provide cups in the cabin but do supply cups at our 24 hour coffee station and we confirmed the cups were above the coffee machine in the sleeve during your stay. We also have great news for your future stay with us ! Because of your note about the bed We are purchasing new mattresses throughout our cabins and also increasing size to a queen in most units !
