Located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, this apartment is within walking distance to many of the restaurants, cocktail bars, nightclubs, theaters and shops that cluster around Downtown San Diego - There is music at night like any urban entertainment district. The SD Convention Center and Petco Park are minutes away.

BEDROOM AREA: Open layout throughout - Furnished with a very comfortable queen-sized bed. Bedding is cleaned for every guest. The queen-sized bed accommodates two people. In addition, there are also (2) single-size beds

BATHROOM: Fresh, clean towels are provided. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body wash are also provided. A hairdryer is also available.

KITCHEN: Guests are welcome to make use of the kitchen to cook and store food in the fridge. Kitchen is stocked with plates, glasses, mugs, utensils, pots, pans, and other miscellaneous cooking tools. Coffee machine with complimentary coffee (regular, flavored, decaf) sugar, provided for guests.

LIVING ROOM AREA: Living room has a Smart TV Plenty of seating in the living room with a large, comfy couch and a large chair. A nice Dining Table also doubles as an excellent workstation and has seating for 6 people. In addition, there is a full-sized bed

Property was very clean and comfortable. I chose it because I like old buildings and proximity to public transportation: buses on Broadway or trolley on C St go to airport, Balboa Park, Ocean Beach and Old Town. Hosts were great in communicating with me every step of the way. Kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed TV in the evening. Important to know that this apartment is in front of the building on 5th Avenue where there are a lot of night clubs. My mother and I are sound sleepers, it was quieter in the bedroom and the hosts provided ear plugs.

Nice place...but

This apartment was definitely spacious, which is exactly what I was looking for, but it needs some attention. Whole building, including apartment, was very musty and dusty. My allergies were going crazy by the end of our visit. It could also use a good cleaning, especially the rugs, bathroom and the air conditioning vents. It was a welcome touch that the hosts added a noise machine to the main sleeping area as the music was kind of loud to the early hours of morning on weekend, but it didn't work on the noise coming from apartment above. Overall, we did enjoy our stay here, just parts of it were a bit frustrating.
