Notre magnifique condominium avec vue sur la mer est situé au coeur de la ville et si vous ne le saviez pas déjà; Un sondage des États-Unis vient d’élire l’île émeraude.
"Sound of the Sea" est une communauté fermée avec de nombreux équipements. Notre unité familiale spacieuse est à quelques pas de la plage. Vous pouvez choisir entre nos deux piscines, courts de tennis ou faire une balade à pied ou à vélo sur la nouvelle piste cyclable de 11 mile juste à l'extérieur de la porte. Que vous preniez un bain de soleil, marchiez sur la plage ou admiriez un coucher de soleil inoubliable depuis les balcons privés, "Seas the Day" est une destination à ne pas oublier!

Good times at the Crystal Coast

Second time staying at "Seas the Day" and it was great. Clean as a whistle, excellent location and a good view of the water. Easy access to bike paths, eaterys and entertainment. Communication was top notch even listing places to eat and events going on while were there.

Great place to stay!

This is our second time staying here and it was just as great as our first visit. The host is very attentive, the home is beautiful, comfortable beds, and the location couldn’t be better. Our son is already asking when we can book again for his birthday next year. We will definitely be back again!

Family of 4 and we all enjoyed the condo. Clean, plenty of parking, and good location. Margie was quick to respond and very helpful so highly recommended if you need a place to stay at Emerald Isle. Spiral staircase was fun

We had such an amazing stay at Seas The Day! There is really only positive things to say! Communication was smooth, easy check-in/out. The host provided some fabulous recommendations that we all enjoyed. The location is perfect and family friendly. The space is well maintained and clean. Thanks for hosting us!

Our little weekend with our kids

We love it! Clean, beautiful view to the beach from our room, everything looks just like the picture. Brian was super nice and hopeful. We love our weekend vacation.

We keep coming back

We love Margie's place and have continued to come back every year. It's a great location- very short walk to the water and quick bike ride or walk to lots of other things. We love how close it is to the bike path- easy to get there with kiddos in tow. Margie's place is clean and comfortable. She is very responsive via vrbo message or text, so if you need something, you won't have to worry. She let us stay a little later this year for check out because we were later getting there than planned, so kind of her! We plan to come back for years to come, and you should come visit Seas the Day, too!

Fantastic Week!

Loved everything about this property! Brian, the property manager, was terrific, had great communication, and made our stay perfect. The property was on the 2nd and 3rd level of the building, overlooking the pool and the ocean. There were fireworks nearly every night, groceries, restaurants, shopping, putt putt, and go carts all within easy walking distance! Loved our trip and will definitely be coming back!

The condo was perfect for our family of four. Access to the beach and pool were convenient, as was parking. The condo itself was clean and pretty much perfect. By far one of our favorite beach rentals over the years. I expect we’ll be rebooking this same unit for our next Emerald Isle vacation!

Family trip

Everything about this property was exactly what we had hoped it would be. We had been to sound of the seas in various units and this may have been the best. The view of the ocean from the deck and proximity to the pools was great for our family. It was a short walk to the beach and our kids enjoyed playing pickleball on the tennis courts and basketball. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Communication and entry to the condo was great and the location to shops and restaurants was perfect. The only thing we noted was that this would not be do-able if we had older members of our family with us. There were a lot of stairs up to the condo and the spiral staircase would not be manageable to get to the bedrooms, but for our family, it was no problem at all. We had a great stay and hope to stay here again!

Perfect Getaway and Location!

We stayed at this condo for three nights while visiting our son, who is stationed at Camp Lejeune. We would absolutely stay here again! The condo is so cute and accommodating. The porch right off the family room has a perfect view of the ocean. The upstairs bedrooms and baths were lovely. We were even able to check in early and the rental manager even gave us a welcome bag of coffee, soap and other items we needed at the condo. I would highly recommend! :)

Nice place and responsive host

We had a nice stay in this very clean and well appointed condo with ocean views. The host, Margie, and her local property manager, Brian, were very helpful and responsive with check in/out and any questions. There is a lot of great info in the condo relative to dining and activity in the area. Only “negative” is that the spiral staircase is difficult to navigate with luggage. However, once upstairs, the bedrooms are spacious and the master has lovely views of the ocean. Thank you for the “special” touches as well.

Perfect place for a small family get away!

This condo was the perfect size and location for my family get away. Loved the two stories so those early risers didn't effect the late sleepers and late nighters didn't effect the early sleepers. Absolutely love the view from the master deck which is indicated in the owners pictures! The property was quit and never busy with people or traffic. The pools are clean and well maintained. They too are not busy or crowded! Access to the beach is just a short walk away. Overall absolutely enjoyed our stay and will rent again!

Fantastic!

Our family of 4 stayed here for a quick Spring Break getaway. First, Brian, the property manager was great! He communicated all the details from checkin to checkout. Extremely friendly and very responsive. The unit is in a gated area. It was quiet and safe. The pools were not open in early April but the seemed to have convenient access. The view was awesome from both balconies. It was well stocked and we had plenty of room for our family to stretch out and not be under each other. The spiral staircase was a favorite of our teenagers. The location was very convenient to all things Emerald Isle. We would definitely go back again.

Wonderful stay at Seas the Day

Margie was wonderful at working with us to schedule days so our family could enjoy a quick beach vacation. This was our first trip to Emerald Isle and we loved it. The condo is so convenient to everything, steps away from two pools and the beach. The complex is family friendly as well as peaceful. The condo is nicely furnished and we enjoyed the board games that were available on one stormy night. The views from both decks are incredible and so nice to enjoy an evening drink with the sound and sights of the ocean along with a cool sea breeze. We loved that we could walk everywhere including Food Lion, restaurants, coffee shop and shopping. We look forward to our next visit to Seas the Day and Emerald Isle.

Everything you need…

We had a three night stay at this property and we were very pleased with both the location of the gated community on the island as well as the location of the unit itself. We were amazed that we could hear the ocean waves while sitting on either of the two decks. While it would’ve been nice to be even closer to the ocean we did have an unobstructed view which was great! We did not make use of the kitchen, but it did have just about anything you would need to prepare a meal. Others have noted the circular staircase to the second floor, which was unusual at first but we quickly got used to it. Overall this was a great property and definitely worth a second visit!

Well appointed condo with gorgeous ocean views! Two decks provided relaxing ocean views!

Hi Margaret - we had a delightful stay at your Seas the Day home away from home! Our wish list would include some good reading lights in the living room area, perhaps a floor lamp or two as we are big readers. The WiFi wasn't working and that's a definite requirement in this day and age. A mini-fridge upstairs would save any needed trips downstairs at night. Would consider updating bathtub faucet in bath off upstairs hall as difficult to pull out lever to change from water in tub to water for shower. We thoroughly appreciated your updated kitchen and downstairs bath - beautiful! Loved the sofa - perfect for the beach - and the master bedroom decor! Your TLC showed nicely in the decor and the condition! We would definitely return to Seas the Day! Oh and Brian was wonderful in helping us move in and out and providing lots of town tidbits... Seas the day

Part of the luxury of vrbo is a keyless, hassle free entrance. Here, I had to be in text or talk communication with property manager to the point had. To pinpoint our arrival within 30 minutes so he could 'let us in'. I have never had an experience like this before using vrbo. Once there, we were given a physical key and a personal welcome along with extra conversation that although he was friendly, not what i bargained for. Not to mention, if I was alone without my husband I would have found the encounter entirely inappropriate. Finally, inside the unit there were no instructions that we could find how to leave the place until.........a text from the property manager around 7pm the night of our last stay! Here he details where to leave linens etc. I would much prefer written instructions left out in plain sight in unit and no calls. Finally, cleanliness was subpar. I was too generous on my rating. Fridge/freezer not wiped down well. The freezer stank like fish, and the bedspreads look like they hadnt been washed in a long while. The blue one in the master looked filthy. Pets arent allowed but looked like pet hair to me? I feel this owner/property manager need to update and get a combination locking system, give written insteuctions, leave a personal escort out of the visit and certainly dont expect your guests to be beholden to keep in touch within half hour arrival time! Secondly, step up your cleanliness. It looks like hardly anything done between guests. come on!

Another great stay!

This is our 3rd time staying here for Mothers Day weekend and we plan to continue staying here for many more years to come! Margie is great at communicating with guests, the location is perfect, and the home is always fresh and clean.

Sound of the Sea

Quiet, friendly, and conveniently located. The pictures on the listing are great, but do not do the condo justice. My family of 4 had MORE than enough to room to stretch out and enjoy our time there. Great living space, two pools, AND you are provided a large shed type area to store all of your beach stuff. That was a pleasant amenity previous stays at other condos did not offer; and it is right below the condo itself. With my wife being from the area of EI, and me having lived there for almost a decade, we had heard of the Sound of the Sea complex and it did not disappoint. Find out for yourself!! We will be returning.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful time at this condo/townhouse - we had stayed in the same complex previously and this was an upgrade for us. The Property Manager was amazing - when we had an issue, he came by with shark teeth for the kids. Place was clean, sheets were nice, and the master bed is enormous. Only piece of advice is to pack in duffel bags rather than suitcases, it's easier to get stuff up and down the (awesome) staircase. I would highly recommend this place, even to picky travelers.

You are within walking distance of Emerald Isle shopping, putt-putt golf, and a myriad of ice cream shops and restaurants. The 11 mile bike path that is right outside our gated Sound of the Sea community. You can bring your own bike and lock it at the bike rack at the foot of the stairs or rent one from one of the local bike shops. Some will even deliver to you.
